The 1st National Conference on Energy Technology and Industrial Automation was held on December 13, 2018 at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology. The Chief Guest was Professor Dr. Muhammad Rafiqul Alam, the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of CUET. The Guest of Honor was Dr. Iqbal Hossain, the former Director of Bangladesh Institute of Technology. The conference was organized by the Institute of Energy Technology at CUET and was sponsored by the Industrial Engineering and services department. It was also held in collaboration with the Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Council and the Bangladesh Society of Mechanical Engineers.
