This text is for questions 1 to 4.

Raja Ampat or 'Four Kings', is the name given to some islands in West Papua and comes
from a local myth. The four major islands are Waigeo, Misool (which is home to ancient rock
painting), Salawati, and Batanta. Raja Ampat is located in the bird head of the island of Papua.
Underwater enthusiasts flock to this region because it offers the world's best marine sight. In the
Raja Ampat islands, divers can explore vertical underwater walls. The thrill of drift diving is
another great challenge.
The territory within the islands of the Four Kings is enormous, covering 9.8 million acres of
land and sea, home to 540 types of corals, more than 1,000 types of coral fish and 700 types of
mollusks. This makes it the most diverse living library for world's coral reef and underwater biota.
According to a report developed by The Nature Conservancy and Conservation International,
around 75% of the world's species live here.
When divers first arrive here their excitement is palpable. It's common to hear people praise
God as they take in the remarkable scenery. Others prefer to remain in silence taking in the

sandy beaches

A plasma display panel (PDP) is a type of display that is commonly found in large TVs (30 Inches or
larger) the word plasma refers to ionized gases that are electrically charged to produce an illuminated
screen.
Plasma can produce high resolution pictures. Scientist believe that the pictures are mostly the same as
the real thing. Plasma can be applied on fairly large size screen – up to 3.8 metres diagonally. The plasma
panel is about 6 cm thick.
The plasma TV consumes power differently for different scenes. Bright scenes consume more power
than the darker ones. The plasma that illuminates the screen might reach a temperature of 1200 C. When
the screen cracks, the temperature of the plasma will directly decrease, to avoid fire and human injury.
Normally, the plasma TV may consume 400 watts for a 30 inches screen and 310 watts for a 50 inch.
The lifetime of the plasma TV might reach 100,000 hours or 27 years if used 10 hours per day. It is
the reason why TV Plasma is efficient.

Human body is made up of countless millions of cells. Food is needed to build up new cells and
replace the worn out cells. However, the food that we take must be changed into substances that
can be carried in the blood to the places where they are needed. This process is called digestion.
The first digestive process takes place in the mouth. The food we eat is broken up into small
pieces by the action of teeth, mixed with saliva, a juice secreted by glands in the mouth. Saliva
contains digestive juice which moisten the food, so it can be swallowed easily.
From the mouth, food passes through the esophagus (the food passage) into the stomach. Here,
the food is mixed with the juices secreted by the cells in the stomach for several hours. Then the
food enters the small intestine. All the time the muscular walls of the intestine are squeezing,
mixing and moving the food onwards.
In a few hours, the food changes into acids. These are soon absorbed by the villi (microscopic
branch projections from the intestine walls) and passed into the bloodstream.

38. The text mainly talks about …

A. The digestive system
B. The digestive juice
C. The method of the digestive system
D. The process of intestine work
