Sofia Lugo: Education

Sofia Lugo attended Divine Savior Academy from 2016 to 2019 where she took honors and AP courses and was involved in various extracurricular activities. She served as vice president of the chess club and volunteered assisting children with special needs. Lugo also gained customer service experience through a volunteer program and volunteered at a senior center and teaching children basic skills in volleyball and chess. She was captain and starter of the varsity volleyball team, receiving awards for her spirited play, and earned a scholarship to play club volleyball, helping lead her team to a state championship. Lugo is fluent in English and Spanish and also speaks basic Portuguese and French.
