The monthly mean maximum and minimum temperature for the period 1900 to 2000 varies
from 24.6 0​​ C to 29.3 0​​ C and from 13.8 0​​ C to 19.7 0​​ C, respectively, for the month of
November. However, the deviation of minimum and maximum temperatures from its normal
since 2001 is appreciable. The nighttimes minimum temperature varies from 15 to 22 0​​ C,
whereas maximum temperature during daytime varies from 28 to 34 0​​ C. No significant rain
for​ ​last​ ​100-years​ ​and​ ​may​ ​be​ ​few​ ​showers​ ​occasionally. (Data​ ​source:​ ​IMD,​ ​GoI).
Forecast​ ​and​ ​Meteorological​ ​Analysis​ ​for​ ​19​ ​to​ ​24,​ ​November​ ​2017
The Western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation over north Pakistan and
adjoining Jammu & Kashmir extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level persists. The
associated trough now runs roughly along Longitude 74°E and north of Latitude 20°N at 5.8
km above mean sea level. The cyclonic circulation over north Odisha & adjoining areas of
Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level persists.
The trough in easterlies upto 0.9 km from Maldives area to South Coastal Karnataka persists.
A fresh low pressure area is likely to emerge into north Andaman Sea around 21​st November,
2017. However, it is unlikely to become more marked. The cyclonic circulation at 1.5 km
amsl​ ​over​ ​Haryana​ ​and​ ​adjoining​ ​west​ ​Uttar​ ​Pradesh​ ​has​ ​become​ ​less​ ​marked.

During , 22-24, Nov 2017, there will be isolated rain over Karnataka and heavy rain likely at
isolated places over south coastal Tamil Nadu. Bengaluru receives slight isolated rains during
afternoon​ ​hours​ ​and​ ​evening​ ​/​ ​night​ ​time,​ ​due​ ​to​ ​local​ ​disturbances​ ​in​ ​wind​ ​pattern.

Bengaluru (12.94 °N & 77.5 °E), is a continental tropical region, located at 850 meters above

covered by the seasonal Northeast monsoonal rains and cloud cover. From the weather

➢ Sky​ ​condition :​ ​Cloudy​ ​to​ ​partial​ ​cloudy​ ​sky​ ​will​ ​prevail.


➢ Temperature :​ ​Expected​ ​within​ ​19°C​ ​to​ ​27°C.
➢ Rain :​ ​Light​ ​intermittent​ ​rains​ ​are​ ​likely​ ​in​ ​the​ ​evening​ ​and​ ​late​ ​night​ ​hours.
➢ Thunderstorms:​ ​Remote​ ​chances.
➢ Low pressure systems over Bay of Bengal: No probability of low pressure
development​ ​concern​ ​to​ ​Bangalore​ ​weather
