A DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE AND HEALTH

Grade Five

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the pupil should be able to:

A. Identify the foods that animals eat.

B. Classify animals according to the food they eat.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

Unit : Man and the Living Environment

Topic : Responding to the Environment

Concept : Herbivorous, Carnivorous and Omnivorous are


the three classifications of animals according to the
food they eat.

Process involved : Inference, Observation, Classification

Reference : MLC, Science and Health for Better Living

III. PROCEDURE
