    忍者 Ninja

    H ere are a few ninja related vocabulary words, some more useful
    than others. Print out the next few pages and write the words to
    learn them.

    TITLES & NAMES: TRICKS:


    忍者 ninja—ninja 火遁 katon—art of fire or smoke-
    忍術 ninjutsu—fighting art of the escape
    ninja 水遁 suiton—art of water-escape
    くのいち kunoichi—female nin- 奥義 ougi—secrets; mysteries
    ja; take the hiragana く, the kata- 技 waza—skill; technique
    kana ノ, and the kanji 一, put 忍者屋敷 ninja yashiki—a house
    them together and you get the or temple with hidden areas for
    kanji for woman: 女 ninja to hide
