The document outlines 10 proposed changes to the substructure and ground floor design including: 1) adding a raft foundation, 2) installing water stops, 3) adding a damp-proofing system, and making changes to increase the load bearing capacities of columns, beams, and floor slabs in the core storage area. It also proposes extending the floor slab and adding an external wall/insulation system to enhance energy performance.

Substructure to Ground floor
1. Raft foundation (was missing in BoQ)
2. Water stop ( water bar) along perimeter of retaining walls and elevator shafts 3. Damp-proofing system 4. Variation of the number of stops of both passenger and goods/passenger lifts as well the capacity of the goods/passenger lift 5. Enlargement of some columns at the basement level of the core storage area with attendant additional reinforcement for those columns to enhance load bearing capacity (see drawings for details) 6. Increased depth of beams at the ground floor level of the core storage area (from 450mm to 550mm) with attendant additional reinforcement for those beams to increase load bearing capacity (see drawings for details) 7. Increased depth (thickness) of ground floor slab of the core storage area (from 200m to 300mm) with attendant additional reinforcement for that area to increase load bearing capacity (see drawings for details) 8. Proposed increased thickness of screed at the core storage area to 125mm to accommodate tracks of core storage racks. 9. Extension of floor slab by 175mm all round to support external wall and insulation system in order enhance energy performance of the building for LEED purposes. This applies to the rest of the building as well. 10. Additional external wall and insulation system as mentioned and as for the purposes stated above. This applies to the rest of the building as well.
