ABSTRACT

The purpose of the project is to research online real estate and analyze the opportunity to run the
business. In this document is including introduction and background, problem statement,
problem solution technology review and objective. In the first part is an introduction and
background part will show the problems, tools and benefit of the project. Second, review is
where showed the common feature of the web service needs to have. Third, technology review
part presented the tools needed to implement. Fourth, quality standard is the standard used in the
project, and lastly project plane is shown how long the web service needs to implement.

1.1 BACKGROUND STUDY
The real estate industry encompasses many faces of property including development, marketing,
selling, leasing and management of commercial, industrial, residential and agricultural
properties. This industry can fluctuate depending on the national or local economies although it
remains consistent due to the fact that people always need homes and businesses always need
workplace

The real estate is evolving from an agricultural society to an industrial one. this is occurring due
to the transformation of the industrial revolution for one urban center swells as people move
from rural places to cities, and as the cities develop the need for real estate transaction are
increasing hence a high potential for real estate.

Online real estate will increase chances for one to find a suitable place for both work and
residential. This is by improving the marketing and transaction of real estate in the near future
due to the advancement of technology and spread internet connection around the country

1.2 INTRODUCTION
This project is a property management system which will help show case all their property,
verify and send them to the builder and investors and provide information about the property
according to their money range. The web-based system is to be free of charge but will require
registration of members which will also be free of charge, one can then verify and get
information on how to get to the owner of the building. one will also be given a place to book a
house and cancel houses or building they are interested in. it will also provide a consultation
platform for enquires and a transaction platform to make purchase of real estate’s product

1.3 PROBLEM STATEMENT


Finding properly built and authentic real estate houses which are already well and fully
furnished is quite tiresome and difficult most real estate business only build one house or
apartment for advertisement then use that one building to convince people to buy house or
building that are not even built hence the need of change , this software is to act as a easy way
for investors to identify building or apartments that they need hence to avoid instances where one
buys a building or apartment which is not built.

1.4 PROPOSED SOLUTION


The aim of this project is to provide an online platform that ensures investors and potential clients
do transactions online, thus making business to be more faster and cheaper. Other solution
includes;

Since the system removes geographical limitation factor, all clients can bid for their preferred
houses regardless of the location

The system will also provide information about the price range of the apartments and a view of
how the building looks like

The system will also provide a consultation platform for enquires and a transaction platform to make
purchase of real estate’s product.

1.5 OBJECTIVES
The specific objectives of the project include;
 To investigate user requirements for a real estate management system
 To provide an online platform via which investor can bid houses online
 To provide management and administration of xyz company an easy way to
manage and monitor the entire business transaction process from a computer-
based interface.
 To come up with system documentation
1.6 PROJECT JUSTIFICATION
The need for real estate business is gradually increasing as the rural urban migration increases
day by day the rise of need for residential places for people to stay, I increase and work space for
business increases. Hence the real estate will continue being part of the community.

Finding a suitable place with all the necessary amenities is quite tiresome and paper work for
these kinds of transaction and validation of the authenticity of the product is difficult hence
online real estate is bound to make a smooth, fast and safe transaction for you right where you
are. providing a wide variety of real estate product to choose from

1.7 SCOPE OF THE STUDY


World wide web (www)has spread across the world and household so internet has become by far
the best platform for real estate marketing today

Online Real estate application are not that popular in the market today but in the future, they
have a large scope of growth Hence online real estate will be a platform where individual buyer
can maintain their property documentation and manage property registration and also access its
information and manage all the adding, updating and deleting the tasks assigned.

The admin user can inform their agent on regarding the property and cancellation of property or
changing buyer’s choice

1.8 METHODOLOGY
Methodology is a set of activities and methods that will be used to interpret or solve
different problems.
OOAD will be preferable to be used in the system for analyzing and designing the
system. Object–Oriented Analysis (OOA) is the procedure of identifying software
engineering requirements and developing software specifications in terms of a software
system’s object model, which comprises of interacting objects.
OOAD diagrams that will be used in this system include:
 Class diagrams
 Object diagram
 Activity diagram

To develop application software, we use different types of software. The software for the
development has been selected based on several factors such as:

In order to implement a new system, the choice of processor with maximum possible speed is
made. There should be sufficient memory to store data and software tools for efficient
processing.
