3 INTRODUCTION
Oromia Water, Mineral & Energy Bureau Entered an agreement With GTB Engineering in JV
with TAM Engineering plc. And Emu General Importer Plc for Construction of Civil Works,
supply and Installation of pipes, fittings and Elector mechanical Equipment at Jan /2016.
Accordingly, the Supply of Electromechanical-Pumps, Generators, Lifting Equipment,
Chlorination Equipment, pipe and fittings are delivered to site on 6th of October 2018.
Submit a copy of the delivery orders for the items imported to the committee, and
To be present during the inspection by a delegate representing the Supplier.
o Electromechanical-Pumps,
o Generators,
o Lifting Equipment and
o Chlorination
Based on the documents, the Goods were inspected on 01-06 November, 2018 by the members
of the inspection committee.
The basic document for the inspection will be the signed delivery order, and goods
delivery note of the Supplier will be considered during the quantity assessment of the
pipes supply.
The standard (ISO) indicated in the specification as well as the technical catalogue of the
Contractor.
4 METHODS OF INSPECTION
The methodology and procedures used for this inspection work were as follows:
In line with this, two types of data employed to measure the quality of Electromechanical-
Pumps, Generators, Lifting Equipment, Chlorination Equipment, pipe and fittings. These are
attribute data and variable data.
6 CONCLUSION
The Supplier is expected to file the insurance case, and the Client is promptly advised to
hold 110% value of the Goods until the required to be replaced or recertified.
Furthermore, The Contractor at site level shall submit a JR copy to the Client
representative confirming the actual delivery to be attached to the payment voucher to
be submitted to Finance bureau and UNICEF.
