The fates of the 13 Flowers where never revealed. A surprising or During the time when two of the prostitutes went back to confusing incident in their brothel to get strings and their earrings. That was unusual the film: behavior for any person especially during times of war. An interesting Our own Filipino culture have some similarities that I have cultural difference or observed. For example, the love for music, even at times of war similarity: we show great sense of faith that even in war, our hope still remains in our hearts. This can be related to the EDSA People Power Revolution which even despite the political diversity, a simple jingle/song gave a sense of unity under one goal. It unites us and gives a single goal to keep on going. Another culture relatable is the sense of sacrifice. This can be related to parental love that gives us the sense of putting your place on the place of the children to ease their pain. Overall opinion about The film was unique since rather than portraying the heroism the film: or bravery through an act of valor in war, they used a sacrifice to portray the act of kindness. It was an unusual plot but still was an eye-opener to show off the kindness. It was also highly relevant to the Chinese culture because of the Japanese occupation.
