    Research Internship | IISC Bengaluru | May’17- July’17
    ● The objective of my internship was to enhance the material properties of metal matrix composite
    under the application of optimized HIPing pressure. For this, I have developed a mathematical model
    between applied pressure and relative density based on experimental data using advanced analytical
    and machine learning models . The results obtained by this analytical model has been successfully
    validated using finite element software ABAQUS.
    ● The main idea of the project is to replace the conventional bladed disk (BLISK) in 2nd or 3rd stage of
    compressor with bladed ring (BLING) for future generation gas turbine.

    Optimization of Supply Chain of Meerpur Village | IIT Roorkee | Jan’17- April’17


    ● Working under Prof. A Ramesh, DOMS, IIT Roorkee, Me and my team collected practical data by
    conducting a survey which includes analysis of supply chain management of Meerpur & its
    neighboring villages and the study of Jwalapur Mandi.
    ● Through the data gained, I try to optimize routes for the transportation of products intra-village and
    from village to Mandi using the concepts of machine learning and statistics.
    ● Used ML algorithms, for dealing with missing values, outliers, imbalanced data and feature selection.
    Based on this, also a location for cold storage facility exactly at the centre of mass of the production
    has been proposed.
    ● Also extrapolated the agricultural data of Meerpur to nearby villages on the basis of agricultural land
    in use of those particular villages.

    Cultural Cell Head | METES' the Metallurgical Engineering Society | IIT Roorkee
    ● Organized intra-departmental sports meet, research talks by distinguished alumni and various social
    events like freshers and farewell for around 600 students of the MME department.

    Village Co-ordinator – Meerpur | Unnat Bharat Abhiyan | IIT Roorkee


    ● UBA is a MHRD project, focused at providing technical innovations and interventions by the premier
    institutes in their nearby villages. Working in a team of 150+ students, we work in health, education
    and employment sector.
    ● As Village co-ordinator, I lead the team of 25 members to work on the initiatives taken for health and
    hygiene, education, employment and the upliftment of the villagers.
    ● Organized various events, camps and surveys such as Health and Hygiene survey for women in the
    village, Science Exhibition, Biogas plant implantation etc. Further, with help of Govt. authorities,
    Organized “Health Camp” in our village which beneficiated 300+ villagers.

    LEADERSHIP

    ● Under this club, I along with my team members organize various fashion events, technological
    exposition of ultra new technology in the field of Fashion Craft, beauty pageants through the whole
    year.
    ● Also, I lead a team of 20 members to represent IIT Roorkee in the biggest fashion event of
    Uttarakhand “VOGUE- The Annual Fashion Parade of IIT Roorkee” and got 3​rd​ position.
