‘Impact of noise level on Students’, says Buchari and Nazaruddin (2017, p.2), ‘Noise
is defined as unwanted noise that could give negative effects to a person both physically
(such as hearing loss) and psychologically (such as frustration and nuisance). In modern
cities, noise becomes a global problem which has been examined extensively around the
world.’ For example, Klang Valley. UTAR campus located at Bandar Sungai Long, which is
a part of Klang Valley. Even though we have students staying at different area of
accommodation, but most of them will feel unpleasant to some acoustic or noise emit from
various sources.
In conclusion, the most critical source that will affect UTAR student’s daily life is
noise from the housemate while they thinks that noise from the restaurant as the most trivial
source that affect their daily life.
