Personal Statement
I am a hardworking and enthusiastic person who is highly motivated and has good
organisational skills. Although I work well as part of a team I can equally work on my own
initiative however, the extent to which work can be achieved independently is affected by my
disability. I have Cerebral palsy and I am in a wheelchair, therefore assistance is often
needed through adaptations of equipment and use of technology.

Education
For the past two years I have been involved in the school productions, co-directing alongside
the teaching staff. I relished the opportunity to add creative input into performances and to
work in a high-pressure environment. I have a keen interest in music and enjoy listening to
music from a variety of genres such as indie, rap, jazz and pop. In addition I have a great
passion for the theatre and attend at every opportunity. I also attended The Pauline Quirke
Academy of Performing Arts where I took part in performances which resulted in a
production at The Shaftsbury Theatre in the West End of London, where I performed live on
stage.
