4. FIRST AID MEASURES

General Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.

Inhalation Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Keep the affected person
warm and at rest. Perform artificial respiration if breathing has stopped.
When breathing is difficult, properly trained personnel may assist affected
person by administering 100% oxygen.

Ingestion NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR DRINK

FLUIDS. Rinse out mouth and drink plenty of water. Get immediate
medical attention. Get affected person to drink large volumes of water to
dilute the swallowed chemical and induce vomiting.
Skin Remove affected person away from source of contamination. Promptly
wash contaminated skin with lots of cold water. Immediately remove
clothing if soaked through and wash as above. Get medical attention if
irritation develops.

Eyes Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eyelids.
Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention if
irritation persists.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Extinguishing Media CO2, extinguishing foam. Contact with moisture or water
may generate sufficient heat to ignite combustible material.

Special Fire Fighting Procedures:

The by-products of combustion may be hazardous to health
with emissions of smoke and toxic fumes. Fire fighters
should wear BA sets especially in confined spaces. Evolves
into CO2, Hydrocarbons, Nitrogen compounds and
hydrogen cyanide.

Unusual Fire & Explosion Hazards:

Overheated containers may explode. Keep sealed containers
cools as the head space will fill with volatile gasses and
may explode on release under the right conditions.
Other information:
The vapours are heavier than air and travel along the ground
and into pits and drains.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Spill Cleanup Methods:
Contain spillage and neutralize with a suitable acid if a land
disposal is contemplated. Scoop up residue into an approved
container. Avoid dusting. If residue is damp or wet, soak up
with inert absorbent. Notification of the National Response
Centre may be required. Refer to EPA, DOT and applicable
state and local regulations for current response information.
It is recommended that each user establish a spill
prevention, control and countermeasure plan (SPCC). Such
plan should include procedures applicable to proper storage,
control and clean up spills, including re-use or disposal as
appropriate.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

EPA waste# Non regulated
DOT Classification Corrosive material (solid)
Usage Precautions Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Avoid
spilling, skin and eye contact. Ventilate well, avoid
breathing vapours. Use approval respirator if air
contamination is above accepted level.
Storage Precautions Keep out of direct sunlight and in a well ventilated area. Do
not store with oxidizers and keep away from all sources of
ignition. Keep containers tightly shut.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION

Ingredients TLV PEL
Methyl Ethyl Ketone
Ventilation Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation
Respirators When 50% of the TVL is exceeded provide a half or full
face mask respirator with a combitox filter. Ensure that the
