purposes in print and digital media.
4.1 Form letters and words in neat legible print using cursive writing.
LEARNING STANDARD : 4.2.4 Describe people and objects using suitable words and
phrases.
4.1.2 Begin to use cursive handwriting in a limited range of
written work.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

1. Construct 4-5 simple phrases by using pictures given.


2. Rewrite the words at least 3 out of 4 using the cursive
writing and correct punctuations.

CROSS CURRICULAR ELEMENT Values

*ACTIVITIES : i. PRE-LESSON : 1. Teacher distributes letter cards randomly to the pupils.


2. Teacher calls out the pupils who got the cards.
3. The pupils come in front of the class. Pupils say the sounds
of the letter.
4. Teacher asks the other pupils to arrange the letters based
on the sounds to form a phrase.

ii. LESSON DEVELOPMENT : 1. Teacher asks the pupils to get into groups.
2. Teacher distributes different pictures for each groups.
3. Teacher gives example of phrases.
Eg:
- big eyes.
- long hair.
4. Pupils write one phrase for the picture within 2
minutes.
5. Pupils change pictures with other groups. Pupils write
different phrases for each pictures.
6. Teacher checks pupils phrases.

iii. POST-LESSON : 1. Teacher distributes cursive writing worksheet (a-z).


2. Pupils trace the dotted line.
3. Pupils to rewrite their words using cursive writing.
