FAQs - MaxiRoom password

1. What are the requirements needed for a secure password in MaxiRoom?

Passwords must contain a minimum of 8 alphanumeric characters, and include at
least one number, one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter. The password
should not contain your username or part of your username.

2. Why does my password expire?

For security reasons, passwords must be changed every 90 days.

3. How can I reset my password?

Before your password expires a reminder email will be sent to you with a link to
MaxiRoom where you can update your password. This link will only be valid for 72
hours, but if this time passes or if you forget or would like to change your password
at any other time, you can click on the “Forgot your Password?” link on MaxiRoom.

4. If I work via Connectivity / Channel Manager(s), can I use the same

credentials for MaxiRoom?
No, credentials (username and password) must be different. This is for security

and meet some special requirements, whereas passwords for Channel Manager
Connectivity will remain unchanged. Updating your MaxiRoom password will never
