What is this module all about?

Hello, dear learners! It’s now time to study more new lessons from this module.
It contains reviews from our previous lessons, from lesson 9 to lesson 11. It has an
activity to check if you can still remember our past lessons. We will test your skill in
machine shorthand if you’re improving.

What you are expected to learn?

In this module, the learners will be able to:

1. practice what they learned from the previous lessons;


2. review lessons such as Initial P and Final P (-P), Consonant compounds: PR, SP,
-PS, First letter combinations: Vowel I and Final N, derivatives,Vowel I for Final
Y, Vowel E and Final N, Words ending ST, ses, sis and sus, Initial C and Final C,
phrases, abbreviation, and the use of asterisk;
3. apply what they have understood in the lessons.

Vowel E and Final -N


Depress vowel E by using your right thumb. Final –N is represented by the letter combinations
PB. Write final-N by depressing it between the crack using your right middle finger.

Initial C and Final –C

Hard C (K) is written by the left ring finger below letter T and soft C is written by the left small
finger. Final -C is represented by the letter combination BG. These keys are written by the right
middle and ring fingers below homekeys PL.

Initial L and Final –L

Initial L is represented by letter combination HR. It is written by depressing the crack between H
and R with the left index finger. Final -L is represented by letter L and it is written by the right
ring finger in the home position.
