What this module is about:

A pleasant day Students! We see each other again. Studying Machine Shorthand became
broader and broader. In this module we will discuss new letters like Initial V and final V (-V).
There are also new set of consonant compounds, abbreviations, and derivatives. I hope you will
enjoy this journey to speed up your ability in taking down dictation.

What you are expected to learn:

In this module you are expected to:

1. memorize letter combinations.


2. read sound patterns quickly.
3. write sentences and paragraph with speed and accuracy.
4. learn other concepts of abbreviations, phrases and derivatives
5. develop your ability in taking down dictation properly and correctly.

How to learn this module

Learning new skills will be very exciting, this module will help you develop your
dictation capability as well as your memory especially with the letter combinations and sound
patterns. I hope you can get along with it easily and be able to acquire everything.
