Basic Flow in JobAdder


1. Create a Job
a. Click the plus button, hit new job
b. Fill the form
c. If the company is not in the system yet, use the green button
d. How is the fee computed based on the minimun and maximum?
e. Job skills
f. Job Owner is the creator and add recruiters
g. Everybody has access to all the jobs
h. Include the job Description
i. New job created will reflect in the homepage
j. Any kind of attachment you want to add ; do it as a specific note. Click actions button,
find add note. There you can add an attachment
k. Matches will show candidates with the skills indicated which you can add a as a
candidate
2. Write a Job Ad and Advertise
a. Post job ad while in the job page to link the two
b. 4 steps:
i. Write ad
1. Use your keywords in every chance
2. Posting date
ii. Select job board
1. Choosing the job boards you want to use
iii. Classifications for job board
1. Everything is filled out. Just add or edit anything you want to include or
change.
iv. Preview
1. Proofreading part.
c. Copy the ad and you c an post it in another job board
d. Whenever someone applies, a candidate record will be created
e. People automatically in the database and will be attached to that job as well
3. Add candidates to a job
a. Matches: Just click add candidate
b. Database (Search)
i. You can add, edit, remove columns
ii. You can also rearrange the columns
iii. Can be done by Boolean operators
iv. Tick the box related to the candidate and then add to the job
v. Create talent pools called folder( You can create a new one or add candidates to
an existing folder)
vi. Send an email or SMS using send message button. (Can we do SMS?)
vii. Candidates will not know that they are included in a bulk email.
viii. Email will be recorded as notes
4. Jobs Dashboard
a. It has the details of all candidates, new candidates, internal interviews done, resumes
submitted, client interviews, reference checks and offers.
b. Pink means they are at the starting point, orange means interviewing stage, green is
about the submit.
c. Click the jobs first and not the numbers coz you want to work from the jobs so its
recorded
d. How to screen applicants:
i. Click quick view.
ii. Change the status depending on your interview or paper screening
iii. In the notes, you can type @ to tag a colleague. Colleague will receive an email
and notification.
iv. Status of the candidates are color coded
5. Place a candidate
a. Tick the name of the candidate and click place candidate.
b. Fill up the form depending on company policy
c. Change job status to filled by us or searching depending if there is a similar job in
another location
d. Billing contact is for the invoice
e. Split the fee if needed.
