For power supply and separation in Ex applications
Functional principle
Separating instruments separate intrinsically circuits from non-intrinsically
safe circuits. Differences are the kind of voltage supply as well as the size
of Ex-technical characteristics values.
Applications
These instruments are used in all applications where Ex-regulations have
to be met.

Functional principle
These protective instruments limit frequent failures and overvoltages in
plants to uncritical values so that failures or malfunctions of the
connected instruments cannot occur. The instrument selection depends
on the mounting and the protecting voltage supply or the control circuit.
Applications
These instruments are used in all areas of industrial measurement
technology.
