some are not.

Feedback from last improvement points

1) Target children with questions and ask follow-ups if required. You used
targeted questions regularly to focus the children and ‘keep them on their
toes’.
2) Ensure your lesson is following a logical sequence. This target still needs
development.
3) Make sure you are happy that your resources maximize learning opportunities.
Your resources for the lesson gave more emphasis to the learning. – Could
you have written in the components for the children as a time saver?
Areas for development:
Sequencing. If investigating, the findings from the investigation should be driving the
learning. It felt like all the answers were given at the beginning, which left little for the
children to discover/learn for themselves. Sometimes children need to be told things
and sometimes they need to be guided towards an answer. The latter is always a
more powerful learning tool.

Focus for next lesson:

1) Sequence of learning. The learning must follow a logical order in order to build
upon the knowledge the children have. Example, you can’t say ‘c’ in the
alphabet until you have said ‘a’ and ‘b’.
