9. Drag and drop the data on the typecurve plot into a position that yields a
satisfactory match of the data to one of the family of curves.
10. Click on the Automatic Typecurve Selection button to select the reD
and b stems
11. Type 150 psi into the pwf input field. This is the final flowing pressure in
the production data set.
12. Use the pulldown menus to modify the automatically selected values if
desired.

13. Deselect the Integral and Derivative typecurve options, so that only the
Rate option remains.
14. Perform the typecurve match as outlined in Step 9 and Step 10.
15. Select the Integral and Derivative options and fine-tune your match (if
required).
16. Click on the Pab Calculator button on the Parameters grid. Select the
“Calculate bhp”. Type in 0.05 MMscfd for qab and 150 psia for pwf (surf).
This will determine a Recovery Factor and EUR for the analysis.

17. Deselect the Derivative typecurve option, so that only the Rate option
remains
18. Perform the typecurve match as outlined in Steps 9 and 10.
19. Move the mouse pointer to the OGIP arrow on the x-axis. Click and drag
to move the arrow and change the OGIP. Notice that the p/z points move
vertically as the OGIP is altered.
20. Click on the Productivity Index option. Notice that the Productivity Index
points are interactive with the OGIP estimate.
21. Try implementing AG FMB and other plotting options and evaluate their
impact on the analysis.

22. Click on Radial (semi-log) radio button from Plot Options and “use
constant pressure solution “from the Axis Options.
23. Try to do the best line match on the linear early data points on the plot.
Note that the curve up trend of the late data points is representative of
boundary dominated flow

31. Click on the Results Summary button on the main toolbar. View your
results and comment on any discrepancies among the different analyses.
