MATH JINGLE CONTEST MECHANICS

1. This is a group competition. Each group must be composed of 10-15 members.


2. Each group will perform their jingle which is based on body sounds and movement only.
There shall be no accompaniment of music.
3. Each group will be given five (5) minutes or less to perform their jingle. A deduction of
5 points per minute in excess of the allotted time will be taken from the total score.
4. The math jingle competition will be judged according to the following criteria:
CRITERIA PERCENTAGE
Originality 20
Mathematical message/ Significance 30
Rhyme with Jingling Effect/ Catchy 20
Agreement of Sounds
Choreography/Costume/Props 20
Audience Impact 10
Total 100
