Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)


Time: 15 min

Guided and Independent Experience (group working with the teacher)

Guided: the teacher will show PowerPoint called (fossils) in the PowerPoint there will be picture of the
title of the lesson and pictures the teacher will ask “what do you see?” then the teacher will hear the
student’s answers. Then the teacher will say “so we will learn about fossils and it will be about two things
which is animals and plants” then the teacher will keep explaining the rest of the PowerPoint.

Independent: The teacher will divide the class into two groups, GA and GB. Basically, the students will make a
fossils using play dough and clay, GA will make the fossils with play dough and GB will make the fossils with play

Closing/ Assessment

The teacher will do a (Traeger hunt), the teacher will do girls team and boys team after that the teacher will tell
them “ok, now I want you to find the fossils that are around the class” and the teacher will give them a hint
which is that there might be fossils outside of the class, and that what the teacher will do she will separate the
