The question for asking colors is constructed similar to the way it´s done in English:

Eng: What color is XXX?


Tr: XXX ne renk? (Here, ne is what and renk is color)
The answer is also simple:
Eng: XXX is red.
Tr: XXX kırmızı.
However, note the difference in word ordering when you want to add a color (or any adjective) to an Add thumbnails like this to your site
indefinite noun.

Turkish has been affected by some "surrounding" languages (since Report
Turkey is near Arabic countries, Iran, countries from URSS....) (-2)
Nowadays, Turkish compounds almost 89% of itself, it´s a lot affected by
Arabic with 6%(If you´re an arab you can see that Turkish is rich with
the Arabic vocabulary, there are even some Arabic rules in Turkish!!!).
Afterwards, French comes with almost 3%( Turkish has imported
technical and math terms from French), then it comes Persian with 2%(a
remarquable number, not enough though. So you won´t find exactly the
same words in Turkish).

For the rest (1%, almost), terms from English, German, Finnish,
Bulgarian ....
