Welcome to Miss Dozier’s Class

Welcome back students and hello parents! I hope you all had a great summer! Before class begins,
here are a few classroom rules about technology. Please review the 5 rules with your children and
initial in the left column to indicate that you and your child understand the rules of the classroom.
With technology becoming a part of our daily lives, I want to ensure that you or your child will not
be bringing personal technology to class, causing distractions to them and/or other students. I
expect you and your children to follow these rules throughout the course of the year. Please make
sure to read, understand and accept the following rules:

Technology contract for Miss Dozier’s classroom

1. All school rules apply.


 All rules that apply in our school, apply in our classroom
2. No technology in the classroom unless instructed otherwise.
 Cellphones, iPods, tablets and other personal forms of technology will be left at home
or in student’s backpacks unless instructed otherwise by the teacher.
3. Respect the technology that is being provided.
 No food or drinks allowed around the technology that is being provided in the
classroom.
 No banging on the keys/screens of computers, laptops, tablets.
4. Stay focused while using technology.
 Use technology for only what is being instructed to do.
 Do NOT deviate from instructions.
 Do NOT visit any personal websites.
5. Have fun and be respectful of others.
