Every year my perspective on teaching philosophies changes, during my first year I

didn’t quite fully understand the concept of teaching philosophy and I ended up

writing a quote that I liked during my high school years. I believed that “Man will

not get anything unless he works hard” (Surah al-Najm, 53:39). That belief still

stands but as I went back and forth in Teaching Practice, I got to meet and learn a

lot from different teachers, observed and interacted with different yet extraordinary

students that taught me something new about myself every day.

As a child, I grew up thinking that teachers played a significant role, such as a

second parent. There was a saying that went like this: Your parents give their all to

raise you, and teachers help in taking part in this process.

As a third-year student, my personal Teaching Philosophy is that love, respect,

patience, trust and lastly but not least equality is very important to ourselves and

the children. In my classroom, I would like to use methods that encourage students

to go above and beyond. Have the students feel free to be themselves without

feeling judged, to be able to speak their mind, realize their own potential, and also

stimulate their autonomy at such a young age.
