Broadcast Engineer

Responsibilities: • Coordinate and monitor studio productions to ensure technical quality • Set up gear, streaming, and encoding for all studios • Work alongside Director of Production and Show Producers for podcasts • Prepare computers, cameras, lights, broadcast gear, and live streaming services for live video and audio content • Maintain and update filming gear, computer systems, servers, streaming services, and software to ensure all are in working order • Research and install new gear as productions change and new projects are added • Operate camera and sound on shoots as dictated by Director of Production • Update settings for content that are adjusted for the needed format and style • Organize and input a variety of daily assets, including video and image graphics, for live show recordings • Work with Production Coordinator and Show Producers to execute guest appearances for other networks • Support Show Producers in show operations • Perform other duties as assigned

Location: In-office, Sherman Oaks


Supervisor: Director of Production

Responsibilities:
! Coordinate and monitor studio productions to ensure technical quality
o Set up gear, streaming, and encoding for all studios
! Work alongside Director of Production and Show Producers for podcasts
o Prepare computers, cameras, lights, broadcast gear, and live streaming services for live
video and audio content
! Maintain and update filming gear, computer systems, servers, streaming services, and software to
ensure all are in working order
! Research and install new gear as productions change and new projects are added
! Operate camera and sound on shoots as dictated by Director of Production
! Update settings for content that are adjusted for the needed format and style
! Organize and input a variety of daily assets, including video and image graphics, for live show recordings
! Work with Production Coordinator and Show Producers to execute guest appearances for other networks
! Support Show Producers in show operations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Requirements:


• 2+ years of similar work experience in a professional production environment preferred
• Experience setting up web-based live productions including using: production switchers, IP network
gear, and graphics
• Understanding of audio/video and ethernet routing
• Basic camera-operating skills required
• Basic editing skills required
• Familiar with Adobe Premiere workflow
