Objective: The objective of this task is for student teachers to begin to understand the
relevance of planning and preparation as well as gain insight into how teachers do this.

After the observation – Arrange a time to discuss the following points with the
teacher:

o I plan weekly (team work)
 Do you do anything you haven’t planned to do?
o If the students were active with me and we finished our objectives early, I can give
them any extra activity out of the plan for them to do.
 What is important to you when planning a lesson?
o Accuracy in managing the time for all the activities.
o I’ll know exactly what I’m supposed to teach the students in steps.
 Do you plan to do the same thing with all the children in the classroom? Why/Why not?
o Yes, all the students do the same activities and when a student struggles in
something specific I focus on him /her more and help him /her to achieve their
Activity in the right way, or sometimes I make the activates little harder for the higher level
students.
