# cd /netmax/install

NetMAX_GU_V14.40.01_Release_Redhat.tar.gz
The above is only an example. The MD5 code changes with released versions of the
NetMAX-GU. The real MD5 code of your version is subject to the MD5 file delivered with
the installation package.
Log in to the server as the root user, and enter the directory where the installation
package is saved. Use the following commands to uncompress the installation package.
# cd /netmax/install

# ./NetMAXInstall.sh
There are two tips during the installation procedure of the NetMAX-GU server software,
which query the installation directories of the NetMAX-GU and database instance. Any
directory can be used, but it is recommended to assign both directories in /netmax to
ensure the enough space for the software operation. You can press Enter to use the
default directory.
Note: The NetMAX is installed in /netmax by default and the database is installed in
/netmax/IQDB by default.
========install finish=======
Note: The whole process takes about 30 minutes (the duration may be different because
of the different configuration of machines).
Log in to the system as the root user, and enter the directory where the NetMAX-GU is
installed.
# cd /netmax/NetMAX-GU
# ./uninst.sh
Note: When the NetMAX is uninstalled, the related Sybase IQ instance will be uninstalled
automatically.
