DISCUSSION/PERBINCANGAN
Daripada eksperimen ‘Brick Test’ yang telah dijalankan, hal ini dapat disimpulkan
bahawa jisim kedua-dua bata adalah sama iaitu 2.67kg. Ketumpatan bagi kedua-dua bata pula
turut mendapat bacaan yang sama iaitu 0.17kg/𝑚3 . Oleh itu,purata ketumpatan bagi kedua-
dua bata itu adalah 0.17kg/𝑚3 . Sebelum bata dimasukkan kedalam air, jisim kering kedua-
dua bata adalah sama iaitu 2.67kg. Setelah bata direndam kedalam air selama 30minit, jisim
bata selepas tenggelam bagi kedua-dua bata masing-masing mendapat bacaan 2.955kg dan
2.975kg. Peratusan penyerapan air bagi kedua-dua bata masing-masing mendapat bacaan
yang berbeza iaitu 10.67% dan 11.42%. Oleh itu, purata bagi peratusan penyerapan air ialah
11.05%. Eksperimen seterusnya pula perlu menggunakan dua bata yang lain iaitu selain bata
daripada eksperimen yang tadi. Luas bata baru ialah 2.15𝑚2 dan jumlah isipadu bata baru
pula ialah 15.27𝑚3 . Jisim bagi bata yang baru adalah berbeza iaitu 2.765kg dan 2.745kg.
Ketumpatan bagi kedua-dua bata tersebut ialan 0,181kg/𝑚3 dan 0.180kg/𝑚3 . Nilai
maksimum beban bagi kedua-dua bata yang baru ialah 417kN dan 410kN. Nilai kekuatan
mampatan pula masing-masing mendapat bacaan yang berbeza iaitu 193.95kN/𝑚2 dan
190.70kN/𝑚2 .
CONCLUTION/KESIMPULAN
Kesimpulan yang dapat dibuat berdasarkan eksperimen ‘Brick Test’ ini ialah jisim bata
selepas tenggelam mempengaruhi peratusan penyerapan air dan purata peratusan penyerapan
air. Hal ini menunjukkan bahawa tidak semua bata yang ditenggelamkan pada masa yang
sama iaitu 30minit mempunyai jisim yang sama. Bagi eksperimen yang menggunakan dua
bata yang lain, jisim bata mempengaruhi ketumpatan,nilai maksimum beban dan nilai
kekuatan mampatan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahawa setiap bata yang dibuat tidak akan sama
secara keseluruhannya iaitu dari segi luas,isipadu dan jisim.
