A380 Reference

The Airbus A380 is a large passenger airliner with a length of 238 feet 8 inches, a wingspan of 261 feet 10 inches, and a height of 79 feet. It has a maximum capacity of 555 to 800 passengers and a maximum takeoff weight of over 1.2 million pounds. The A380 is powered by either 4 Rolls Royce Trent 900 or Engine Alliance GP7272 engines, each producing over 70,000 pounds of thrust. Its maximum cruise speed is around 0.88 Mach and its maximum range with 555 passengers is over 8,000 nautical miles. Flight testing of the A380 is expected to begin soon.
