Lesson Plan

This document outlines a learning task to teach students about common solutions. Students will be assigned to identify solutions around their home or in stores and record their observations. They will describe solutions in terms of properties like color, odor, feel, and taste. Students will then analyze the data they collected to understand common properties of solutions and whether solutions must always be liquid. They will also explore questions like how quickly different solids dissolve in water.
