    Description:

    This project is for a large pharmaceutical company in UK. The primary objective of this project is to
    develop the OBIEE reports for GSK reporting requirement. Pharma Analytics is an application that
    provides data and reports on certain aspects of the conduct of clinical trials. The clinical trials are
    conducted to test a new drug or device on human subjects. It is conducted as part of a program to
    demonstrate that the drug/device is safe and effective, in order to gain approval from a regulatory agency
    to market it. The following various entities are analyzed in the reporting system: Protocol, Site, Subjects,
    Account, Contact, Milestone & Drivers, and payments.

    Responsibilities:
     Created ODI packages, scenarios using mappings, variables, procedure.
     Used ODI commands like ODIFile_Move, odiFileAppend, odiFilecopy etc.
     Optimized the knowledge modules to improve the functionality of the process.
     Created/modified Metadata repository (Rpd) by using Administration Tool: Physical, Business
    Model and Mapping and Presentation Layers.
     Created connection pools, imported the physical tables and then creating aliases, defined joins
    and implemented authorizations in the physical layer of the repository.
     Created Dimensional Hierarchiesfor the Drill Down functionality and implemented Business

    than 3, 400 restaurants system wide.

    Responsibilities:

     Created/modified Metadata repository (.rpd) by using Administration Tool: Physical, Business


    Model and Mapping and Presentation Layers.
     Created Dimensional Hierarchies for the Drill Down functionality and implemented Business
    Logics and metrics.
     Created Initialization Blocks and Variables using Administration Tool in OBIEE to streamline
    administrative task and modify metadata content dynamically.
     Extensively used different performance tuning methods like Caching, Aggregate tables.
     Implemented Time Series Function to Show MTD, QTD and YTD, Ago values in Insurance and
    General Ledger Reports.
     Implementation data and Object level security.
     Creating the Dashboard and Report level prompts.
     Generated OBIEE reports using OBIEE Answers, dashboards, filters and Prompts.
     Developed different kinds of reports (pivots, charts, tabular) using global and local Filters.
