REGISTRATION FEE None VI. PROPONENT SciTech Mathematical Society VII. RATIONALE Mathematics is one of the skills that a SciTech student should develop. It requires one’s capacity to think fundamentally, legitimately and systematically keeping in mind a goal of solving mathematical problems that are given every day. One of the ways of developing these skills are practicing it by doing various activities. SciTech Mathematical Society (SMS) of Santa Rosa Science and Technology High School would like to have a yearly event, Math week, with the theme “Anamorphism: The Phantasms of Reality.”
VIII. OBJECTIVES The objectives of the club in conducting this
activity are stated below: 1) To enhance the students’ basic, coherent and systematic thinking capabilities promote more outside their classrooms. 2) To promote fellowship and camaraderie among the different school-year levels. 3) To feature the skills that the students can showcase in different areas of Mathematics 4) To enable the school to recognize the students’ hidden talents IX.
