Creating a Likert Scale Plot!

(for Dummies)
By: Boj Aleta, Kyle Juan, Ranns Meldrik Santos, and Marc Torres. 12B

STEP 1: Make a Table on Excel of your Values!

Step 1.1. Create a Data Set!


 Insert all Values in Cells in Excel! (All Values must be Percentages)

Step 1.2. Click on the Insert Tab on the Excel Ribbon!

Step 1.3. Click the Table Button!

Step 1.3. Excel would automatically select the Cells for you!

 Click Ok.
Step 1.4. Ta Da! Table is done!

STEP 2: Make the Basic Likert Plot Itself!

Step 2.1. Again, Click on the Insert Button!

Step 2.2. Find the Bar Graph Icon on the Charts Section of the Ribbon!
 Click On It!

Step 2.2. Find the 100% Stacked Bar Icon!


 Click On It!

Step 2.3. A White Box will appear!


Step 2.4. Find the Data Part of the Ribbon!
 Click on the ‘Select Data’ Button
 A Box will appear; prompting you to Select Data!

Step 2.5. Click on the Chart Data Range and Highlight the Table made Earlier!

 Click OK

Step 2.6. The Likert Scale has been created!


Step 2.7. Adjust the Chart Format on the Chart Styles Part of the Ribbon!
 Choose which is BEST APPROPRIATE to your Table.

Step 2.8. Add Chart Titles and Axis Titles!


 Click on the Plus Button on the Right Side of the Chart.

 Check the ‘Chart Title,’ ‘Axis Titles,’ and ‘Legend’ Labels.

 This will appear!


Step 2.8. Adjust according to your Labels!
