Structure of Mind

The frontal lobe controls important cognitive skills like emotional expression, problem solving, memory, language, judgment, and sexual behaviors. It is essentially the "control panel" of our personality and ability to communicate. The parietal lobe contains the primary sensory area where senses like touch and temperature are interpreted. The occipital lobe contains the primary visual cortex where the mind interprets color and other visual aspects. The temporal lobe processes auditory information from the ears and is key to comprehending speech. The cerebellum regulates motor movements and coordinates voluntary actions like posture, balance, and coordination.
