INTRODUCTION

 Good evening everyone! Welcome to La Salette of Jones, Incorporated!

Welcome to the celebration of a wonderful life for a girl who is now
turning into a fine lady. Tonight is a celebration of adulthood and a
thanksgiving of the life that God has given to our lovely celebrant. All of
you who are here tonight have watched her grow over the years into the
wonderful person she is now. As a jumpstart, let us all welcome and
acknowledge the ever supportive and loving family of our debutant: Mr.
and Mrs. Sherwin Lavalle. (Magandang gabi sa inyo ate at kuya!)
GRAND ENTRANCE OF DEBUTANT

 Like Wendy in the movie Peter Pan, no more fairy tale stories every
night. She is now a real lady as she stepped into the much higher level of
what we call LIFE. Alright, let us put our hands together as we
welcome the main highlight of this celebration, let us all stand as we
welcome our lovely debutant, MISS SHEENY BRITHNEY LAVALLE.
OPENING PRAYER

 At this moment, I would like to request everybody to please remain

standing as we say our prayer to be led by Lanie Herardo.
WELCOME REMARKS

 Wow, blooming and lovely, indeed! Saan nga ba siya nagmana? Kay
Mommy ba? Or kay Daddy? Or baka both? Evidently, before tonight,
Sheeny had happy years in a very happy home. The love of a family will
always be God’s greatest blessing. Sabi nga nila, in life, we can have
several friends, classmates, and social circles, but there is only one
family who is always willing and ready to welcome us no matter what.
Ladies and gentlemen, to answer the question kung saan nga ba
nagmana si Sheeny, here’s Miss Liezl Lavalle, to welcome all of us to
their lovely daughter’s 18th birthday party.
QUICK INTERVIEW

 Who is Sheeny in the real sense of word? Of course aside from being a
kind and responsible daughter, friend or classmate maybe, there are
things that some people know but not known to others. Let’s find out as
we randomly ask some quirky, trivial and even personal questions to
some of our important guests here?

What is your relation to Sheeny? How do you find her?

In one word, how can you describe Sheeny?
What makes Sheeny’s day very happy?
Who is Sheeny’s celebrity crush?
What do you think Sheeny’s strong positive trait?
What can you say of her when she was a child?
What is her favorite movie? Why do you think it’s her favorite?
How are you related to the debutante?
How did you meet?
TRIBUTE TO DEBUTANT (video presentation)

 What is the essence of this celebration without further knowing some of

the important information of our debutant? Again, sit back (because
dinner is ready… no just kidding…) as what I have said, sit back and be
amazed about the video presentation prepared just for you and for our
lovely debutant.
SPECIAL DANCE-FATHER AND DAUGHTER, BROTHER AND SISTER
DANCE, GRANDFATHER AND GRAND DAUGHTER DANCE

 The father and daughter dance is probably one of the most loved
traditions in any Filipino debut celebration. This signifies the
daughter’s first step to womanhood and the father’s acceptance of this
period in his daughter’s life.

 Ladies and gentlemen, let us put our hands together as we witness our
debutant together with her loving and supportive father.

 Our second number is a tandem between a cat and a dog. Sabi nila,
para silang aso at pusa, but at the end of the day, they treated one
another special. Ladies and gentlemen, our lovely debutant with her
handsome brother.

 For our third number, the grandfather and granddaughter dance.

Ladies and gentlemen, join me as we welcome Mr. Silvestre Lavalle and
our lovely debutant.

 And finally, the handsome uncle of our lovely debutante, Jomber M.

Obbania
18 ROSES

 Like a flower that blooms and exudes its sweet scents to attract bees and
butterflies, the debutant will be swarmed on by 18 equally gentle
bachelors who will offer to her roses that symbolize love, love which
Sheeny’s has for her family and all the people in her life.

 As the debutante receives her 18 roses let it be a reminder that like the
rose, life is beautiful. However, there are thorns that signify that life
isn’t that easy for there are problems to be faced. It is up to her how she
will handle these hurdles with the support of her family and friends.

 Once again, may I invite the 18 roses here on the center stage for
pictorial.
18 CANDLES

 And to continue the program, to represent Sheeny’s Circle of Important

People of her life, let us all welcome the following persons who will
share their wishes and offer Candles of Enlightenment which
symbolizes friendship.

 Sabi nga ni mareng Willa Cather, “Where there is great love, there are
always wishes”, because birthdays are always new beginnings and new
endeavors with new set of goals. Sending birthday messages/wishes is a
tradition especially in our country, wherein we give high value to family
ties and relationship. Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you
these 18 wishers for our debutant. These are the people close to the
heart of our celebrant whom she listens and confides for inspiring
words and friendly advice. Starting off with the woman dearest to
Sheeny’s heart, representing the mother candle that will be a source of

 Many ancient cultures believed that smoke carried their prayers to the
heavens. So, at the count of three, her mother and all the members of
the 18 Wishers, let’s say “May all our wishes come true” and blow our
candles together. 1, 2, and 3…
BLOWING OF CANDLE-BIRTHDAY CAKE/SINGING OF
TRADITIONAL BIRTHDAY SONG

 Let me share another good-to-know trivia to everyone on how birthday

cakes and candles came about as a tradition during birthdays. Some
believe that the tradition of birthday candles began in Ancient Greece.
Putting candles on a cake was a special way to pay tribute to the Greek
moon goddess, Artemis. They baked round cakes to symbolize the
moon. Candles were added to represent the reflected moonlight.
Today’s tradition of making wishes before blowing out the birthday
candles may have started with that belief. Enough of all those did-you-
know trivia because at this part of the program, our lovely and stunning
Sheeny will now blow the candles on her birthday cake. And to
complete that customary practice, let us all sing joyfully a song I am
very sure everybody is familiar with the happy birthday song! (Debutant
makes a wish and blows the candles
PART 2

 18th birthday marks the end of teenage and the beginning of adulthood.
It is a very special day in every one's life because this person cherishes

moving towards adulthood wherein she will be loaded with
responsibilities and independence of thought and expression. Once
again ladies and gentlemen, let us all witness our lovely debutant for the
grand cotillion waltz dance. Of course, she cannot do this alone, so join
me as we welcome the other members of cotillion.
18 BALOONS

 In general, 18 balloons represent the 18 most important people in a

young adult's life. Also, each balloon represents the dreams of the
debutant which will soar high as an eagle’s fly. Ladies and gentlemen, I
will be calling the members of the 18 balloons. As I call your name, form
a circle. May I also request our lovely debutant to stay at the center of
the circle and once I already gave the signal, you may now release the
balloon and let each balloon fly.

is more than grateful to see all of you, it would be our beloved celebrant,
