IEEE 2018 -2019 IOT PROJECT LIST AND ABSTRACTS
IGTI01 TITLE:IOT V2I Communication – Rescue Time

The accretion of traffic has led to the use of more sophisticated Traffic
management system in today's society. Traffic Congestion is a major factor
which forestalls the smooth flow of Ambulance vehicles. To abate the
inconvenience caused by the traffic, the Road Side Unit (RSU) is used which
minimizes the waiting time of vehicle and also manages traffic load.
Measuring traffic volume in a road system has important applications in
transportation engineering. The connected vehicle technologies integrate
wireless communications and computers into transportation systems,
allowing wireless data exchanges between vehicles and road-side equipment,
and enabling large-scale, sophisticated traffic measurement. This paper
investigates the problem of persistent traffic measurement, which was not
adequately studied in the prior art, particularly in the context of intelligent
vehicular networks. The estimators are mathematically derived from the join
result of traffic records, which are produced by the electronic roadside units
with privacy-preserving data structures. We evaluate our estimation methods
using simulations based on both real transportation traffic data and synthetic
data. The numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed
methods in producing high measurement accuracy and allowing accuracy-
privacy tradeoff through parameter setting.

IGTI02 TITLE:IOT Based Smart Talking Energy Meter

In this paper smart energy meter with GSM model for prepaid and postpaid
system is proposed. Due to this system the user has ability to select prepaid
or postpaid mode as per his/her requirement. In prepaid mode balance is
reduced as per energy is consumed. When the balance is low user gets a
“Balance is low” message. If balance reaches to zero then with the help of
relay power automatically gets cut off. If the account is recharged then the
user gets uninterrupted power supply. In postpaid system with the help of
GSM module MSEB gets the message of how much units a particular user is
used and according to that data MSEB sends bill by post. The aim of the
project is to minimize the queue at the energy meter billing counters and to
restrict the usage of energy meter automatically, if the bill is not paid. The
project also aims at proposing a system that will reduce the loss of power and
revenue due to power thefts and other illegal activities.

IGTI03 TITLE: IOT Based Multi Function War Assistance Robot

Most of the Defense organization now takes the help of robots to carry out
many risky jobs that cannot be done by the soldier. These robots used in
Defense are usually employed with the integrated system, including video
screens, sensors, laser gun, metal detector and cameras. The Defense robots
also have different shapes according to the purposes of each robot. Here the
new system is proposed with the help of wireless camera through we can
trace out the intruders (unknown persons) and the robot will be employed
with integrated systems, including video camera, sensors, gripper and a
weapon. Thus the proposed system, an Multi-functional defense Robot using
wireless network GSM through we can update the data to web page server.
This is specially designed robotic system to save human life and protect the
country from enemies.

IGTI04 TITLE: IOT - Design and development of System to prevent the Chain
snatching

The idea of our concept is based on the news related to chain snatching which
we very often read in the newspapers, the word that is rampant in newspaper,
television channel and in all our lives is Chain Snatching. This is one of the
crimes which are increasing as the river flows downstream. Back -to- back
chain snatching in the city put the cops on their toes. Even as chain snatchers
are doing crime with the catch-me-if-you-can spirit, police are working over-
time to dent that spirit, but to no avail. Observing that the robberies have
increased over the years, there is also a raise in chain snatching incidents.
Thus chain snatching has become an urban phenomenon. The aim of this
approach is to develop a smart electronic gadget that is able to track the
culprit and alert the police through the Real time transmission of video signals
of the scene of crime which helps in solving the complicated cases. It also
reduces many kinds of crimes taking place in society and hence provides
security for public.

IGTI05 TITLE: IOT - Matlab - Intelligent Surveillance and Security system for
Access Control

Most doors are controlled by persons with the use of keys, security cards,
password or pattern to open the door. The aim of this paper is to help users
for improvement of the door security of sensitive locations by using face
detection and recognition. The face is a complex multidimensional structure
and needs good computing techniques for detection and recognition. This
paper is comprised mainly of three subsystems: namely face detection, face
recognition and automatic door access control. Face detection is the process
of detecting the region of the face in an image. If a face is recognized i.e.,
present in the database, it is known, and else is unknown. The door
automatically opens for the known person by matching with known database
image. On another side, for an unknown person, the image will be sent
through Google Cloud Messaging to the owner’s Android app and based on
owner command the door will be open or closed. Although many preliminary
images are used, probabilistic efficiency cannot be decreased predominantly.
Therefore, face recognition using Open CV using Android can be more useful
for door security system than any other face recognition techniques.

IGTI06 TITLE: IOT Wearable - Municipal Crews in Secure with Smart Wear
In a time where environmental impact is important, even the little
contribution is welcome, like We present here an application for the
improvement of the operation of waste collecting municipal crew members
or contract or employees. In this system we are using Wearable technology
now days a variety of applications which grows as the field itself expand.
Solid waste collection and transport involves storage at the generation and
pick-up points pick up by the crew, trucks driving around the neighborhood,
and truck transport to a transfer station or disposal point. So the system is
introduced for improvement in the collection system can reduce overall cost
significantly.

IGTI07 TITLE: IOT - MOBILITY ASSISTANCE TRAINER FOR VISUALLY

IMPAIRED
Evolution of technology has always been endeavored with making daily life
simple. With a fast paced life everybody today is harnessing the benefits of
technology except some parts of the society .One of them is the visually
impaired who have to rely on others for travelling and other activities. This
paper aims at providing one such theoretical model which incorporates the
latest technologies to provide efficient and smart electronic aid to the blind.
We have used ultrasonic range finder circuit for detection. GPRS is used here
for wireless communication. The basic objective of the system is to provide
a convenient and easy navigation aid for unsighted which helps in artificial
vision by providing information about the environmental scenario of static
and dynamic objects around them.

IGTI08 TITLE: COTTON FLUCKER AND FABRIC FOR IRRIGATION AND

FARM MONITORING
Agriculture contributes to a major portion of India’s GDP. Two major issues
in modern agriculture are water scarcity and high labor costs. These issues
can be resolved sing agriculture task automation, which encourages precision
agriculture. Considering abundance of sunlight in India, this paper discusses
the design and development of an cotton flucker and fabric for irrigation and
farm monitoring that automates irrigation task and enables remote farm
monitoring. The Agribot is developed using an Arm pucker. It harvests cotton
when it is ready for harvesting. While executing the task of irrigation, it
moves along a pre-determined path of a given farm, and senses soil moisture
content and temperature at regular points. At each sensing point, data
acquired from multiple sensors is processed locally to decide the necessity of
irrigation and accordingly farm is watered. Further, at the remote server, raw
data is processed using signal processing operations such as filtering,
compression and prediction. Accordingly, the analyzed data statistics are
displayed using an interactive interface, as per user request.

IGTI09 TITLE: IoT – Smart Urban Data Logger – Environment and Garbage
With increase in population, the scenario of cleanliness with respect to waste
management is degrading tremendously. The overflow of garbage in public
areas creates the unhygienic condition in the nearby surrounding. It may
provoke several serious diseases amongst the nearby people. It also degrades
the valuation of the area. To avoid this and to enhance the cleaning, ‘smart
waste management system’ is proposed in this project. In the proposed
system, the level of waste in the dustbins is detected with the help of Sensor
systems, and communicated to the authorized control room through
GSM/GPRS system. Microcontroller is used to interface the sensor system
with GSM/GPRS system. An Amazon application is developed to monitor
the desired information related to the waste for different selected locations.
This will help to manage the garbage collection efficiently. This system is
also used to collect the environmental information. The main objective of this
project is to achieve the multiple operations of with single embedded system.
The module acts as the data logger, which collects the real time status of the
environment parameters and garbage parameters. This information is
uploaded to the real time server. AWS (Amazon web services), is used to
implement the IOT.

IGTI10 TITLE:IOT - Distributed Strategy for Emergency Ambulance Routing

New communication technologies integrated into modern vehicles

offer an opportunity for better assistance to people injured in traffic accidents.
Recent studies show how communication capabilities should be supported by
artificial intelligence systems capable of automating many of the decisions to
be taken by emergency services, thereby adapting the rescue resources to the
severity of the accident and reducing assistance time. To improve the overall
rescue process, a fast and accurate estimation of the severity of the accident
represent a key point to help emergency services better estimate the required
resources. This paper proposes a novel intelligent system which is able to
automatically detect road accidents and notify them.
During the last decades, the total number of vehicles in our roads has
experienced a remarkable growth, making traffic density higher and
increasing the drivers’ attention requirements. The immediate effect of this
situation is the dramatic increase of traffic accidents on the road, representing
a serious problem in most countries.

IGTI11 TITLE: Intelligent Accident Detection Classification using Mobile

Phones

Advancement in technology and increasing traffic, road accidents and traffic

hazards have increased, causing more chances of loss of life due to lack of
timely help facilities. This project is an attempt towards finding solutions for
timely accident notification. The proposed project records the parameters of
vehicle at regular intervals of time, through a smart device installed in the
vehicle and sends these values onto the Android App, vehicle owner or a third
party. The system will facilitate the users in a number of ways such as
notification for immediate aid in case of accident, tracking the vehicle
conditions in cases of accident and disabling the vehicle remotely and last but
not the least. The hardware components include the smart device installed in
the vehicle and a mobile phone for user interaction. The smart device installed
in the vehicle does not interfere with the normal functioning of the vehicle or
cause overheads.

IGTI12 TITLE: Innovation Strategy and Betterment Planning for Smart Village

The environment monitoring, garbage collections and street light

management are difficult and complex phenomena to overcome these
problems this project has been proposed. With smart technologies it’s easy to
manage traffic, garbage, environment and we can ease environmental and
climate impacts from the growth in mobility. In this project amazon cloud is
developed to store the all information for this project through GPRS.

IGTI13 TITLE: PYTHON – Image Cascade Classifier for Visitor, Seminar hall
or Party Ambiance

Whenever we are thinking about any programmable devices then the

embedded technology comes into force front. The embedded technology is
now a day’s very much popular and most of the products were developed
with microcontroller or microprocessor based embedded technology.
The main intention of a Bidirectional Visitor Counter with laptop camera
using PYTHON is to 1. Design a system wherein the number of persons
entering or leaving a room is kept track of and displayed on a LCD.
2. According to human presence in party hall with respect to it counts the
entry and exit of the persons. When a person enters the room, count would be
increased, whereas on leaving, the count would decrease. PYTHON Laptop
camera sensing mechanism is used to sense the entry & exit of visitors and
the whole counting operation is done by a microcontroller. The system will
have preset value of Light intensity, this light intensity depends on humans
present in hall. Also if intensity of light decreases below set value then it is
the decrease of peoples present in the hall. Light intensity sensing would be
done by LED. Availability of person or visitor can be made available from
counter value. Therefore, system would take care of display count of visitors
available in party hall.

IGTI14 TITLE: Real-time Driver Advisory Model - Intelligent Transportation

Systems

Pedestrians safety refers to methods and measures for reducing the risk of a
person using the road network for being killed or seriously injured. The users
of a road include pesdestrians, cyclists, motorists, their passengers, and
passengers of on-road public transport, mainly buses. Best-practice road
safety strategies focus upon the prevention of serious injury and death crashes
in spite of human fallibility. Safe road design is now about providing a road
environment which ensures vehicle speeds will be within the human
tolerances for serious injury and death wherever conflict points exist.
The basic strategy of a Safe System approach in today’s present day scenario
is to ensure that in the event of a crash, the impact energies remain below the
threshold likely to produce either death or serious injury. However in this
paper we present a system in on detection of pedestrians, the speed of the
vehicle is reduced to a speed, such that owner of the vehicle can steer their
car to safety thereby protecting the pedestrians. Along with this, we also
propose a sign board voice alert system so that the driver of the vehicle need
not take their eye’s of the road.
IGTI15 TITLE: IOT based Gesture based nurse calling system

The project mainly aims in designing a system which is capable of

helping patients to call nurse/attendants in case of emergencies through hand
movement. The system comprised of a accelerometer sensor coupled with
Renesas 30-pin and worked synchronously with patient hand movement. The
concurrent activation of the sensors enables the conveyance of patient need
to the nurse station through a GPRS wireless communication and we can see
the details of the patient through an android app.

IGTI16 TITLE: IOT - Evidence Collection in Automotive Industry for Legal

Claim

Evidence collection car is a device to record driving history which

can be used for car forensics in case of car accident or related crimes.
Evidence collection car stores engine temperature readings, obstacle
detection and seat belt condition that could be critical clues for investigating
car-related accidents or crimes. The images captured can be collected via
GSM through android. This demonstration shows the whole process to collect
image capture and data’s like temperature, obstacle and seat belt worn. This
data is then sent through gsm to concerned authorities.

IGTI17 TITLE: IOT BASED INTELLIGENT/SMART TRAFFIC

MANAGEMENT FOR AMBULANCE

Traffic management on the road has become a severe problem of today's

society because of growth of the urbanization, industrialization and
population, there has been a tremendous growth in the traffic. With growth
in traffic, there is occurrence of bundle of problems too; these problems
include traffic jams, accidents and traffic rule violation at the heavy traffic
signals. This in turn has an adverse effect on the economy of the country as
well as the loss of lives.
Traffic lights play an important role in traffic management. Traffic lights
are the signaling devices that are placed on the intersection points and
used to control the flow of traffic on the road.
IGTI18 TITLE: IOT – ChargeItSpot

The objective of this project is inserting the coin using charge for your
mobile phone in public places. This project is very useful to people who are
all using mobile phone without charging condition in public places. In this
project, who are all using mobile phones in outside of home are office without
charging condition. The IOT coin based mobile phone charger is very useful
to that person for using coin to charge for that mobile. In this project we are
implementing more application by using the same concept like water filling
and emergency alert to nearby hospitals and police stations by using the IOT
concept.

IGTI19 TITLE: IOT - Home Automation System for Intrusion Detection

Home intrusion plays a role and requires a system to notify and activate
homeowners to be alert and protect their home assets in time. HIVE is
proposed for home intrusion detection and devised in three parts. First,
sensor manager is composed of sensor manager acting as GPRS coordinator
communicating with sensors actuators. Three different sensor types are
passive infrared for detecting motion, magnetic switch for opening/closing
of door detection, and load cell for the weight gauge from pressing steps on
the floor. Two actuators, composing of pies alarm (Buzzer) are activated by
sensor manager. Second, Firebase is developed as cloud database and user
authentication service. Third, an Amazon server application is deployed for
end-user for monitoring, configuring, and being notified remotely. As a
result, sensor and actuator modules can join the GPRS network
automatically. Sensor Manager sends updated sensors' and actuators' data to
Firebase, consequently, home users can be notified intrusion events via the
Amazon sever application, and remotely configure events, sensors, and
actuators anywhere anytime via the Internet. Therefore, this system can
enhance security and safety for home assets.

IGTI20 TITLE: Web Laboratory - IOT Based Remote Virtual Lab Access with
Graph Generation

Laboratory experiments are integral part of science and engineering product

based companies in R&D department, Product development industries and in
colleges. Automation is changing the nature of these laboratories, and the
focus of the system designer is on the availability of various interfacing tools
to access the laboratory hardware remotely with the integration of computer-
supported learning environment. This paper presents the novel design
techniques to access experiments on Electronics machines remotely through
the Web using virtual instrumentation (VI) tools. The general Web-interface
architecture is presented to facilitate control and measurement of
experimentation parameters online with complete isolation from the electrical
line voltage. Web page supported VI tools which are used to create the Web-
based automation and control of the experiments hardware is designed to
interface the Web server with the experimental resources and to support user-
friendly interface to access the data online. The safety issues while operating
the electronic machines online are addressed through the MICRO-
CONTROLLERS logic. The designed system exploits the data acquisition
and the webpage features. Experiment online along with the acquired data
that are presented in virtual meters as well as in graphical plots. Data
acquisition (DAQ), digital control, graphical user interface (GUI), remote
laboratory, and voltage measurement.

IGTI21 TITLE: IOT - Bellandur Lake: Analysis and Metering of Industrial

Waste Water

Industrial wastes generated through various industrial operations are different

and complex. These wastes on discharge affect the normal life of a stream or
normal functioning of sewerage and sewage treatment plants, unless pre-
treated at the source point itself. The waste water from industries have high
proportion of suspended solids, dissolved organic and inorganic solids, BOD,
alkalinity or acidity and their different constituents may not be in same
proportion as they exist in a normal domestic sewage. This industrial waste
water cannot always be treated easily by the normal methods used for treating
domestic waste and certain specially designed methods or sequence of
methods may be necessary.
The treatment of effluents before discharge is necessary to reduce pollution
and hence the project is proposed. In this project the analysis and metering of
water is been carried out randomly by collecting water samples at different
time using sensors and storing the measured values in a cloud via GPRS for
further use by the government.

IGTI22 TITLE: IoT based Refrigerator, Storage room and FMCG products
stock monitoring with Email alert of Purchase Order

As we are in the twenty first century the busy life style makes the
FMCG product market is growing like a money plant in this world. Not only
companies are gaining huge profit from these product sources but these
products are also one of the main ingredients in our day today life. So the
customer has to think and decide on the products which he is going to
purchase because of the availability of the choices replicates variants in every
section of the products.
IGTI23 TITLE: IOT-Electricity Energy Unit limits Per SqFt Land – Resource
management responsibility per family

Due to continuous increase of population, this century the old system

unfortunately suffers from many problems i-e limited production of
electricity, while demand is going to be higher side on daily bases. To resolve
this and similar other problems a quantum leap is required to connect
communication via information technology. This dive towards a new
efficient technology is called Smart Grid. The central vision of smart grid is
the development of smart appliances that will allow autonomous software
agents, working as consumers to optimize the use of smart devices while
interacting with agents at grid. Overall electricity consumption increased,
resulted to increase the amount of electricity bills. Then we need efficient
electricity consumption management techniques having minimum user
interaction. This paper will discuss different existing methodologies used for
energyoptimization in smart grid and also portrays how consumer agents can
reduce their electricity bills by utilizing incentives from energy suppliers.
Different load prediction and game theoretic methodologies for energy
management system are also discussed; at the end a novel smart home
framework is proposed, which can automate the smart home by considering
the energy optimization techniques. The stated system will not only reduce
the co2 emission, which is a main cause of global warming, but also reduced
the cost of energy consumption for end users.

IGTI24 TITLE: IOT BASED STRUCTURAL HEALTH MONITORING

The Internet of Things (IOT) is an emerging key technology for future

industries and everyday lives of people, where a myriad of battery operated
sensors, actuators, and smart objects are connected to the Internet to provide
services such as mobile healthcare, intelligent transport system,
environmental monitoring, etc.
With the development of infrastructure such as high speed railways
and smart cities, more and more safety infrastructure needs to be monitored.
In the meantime, a lot of old infrastructure such as pipelines, bridges and
building needs to be monitored for lifecycle assessment, improving safety
and security. New infrastructure is required for low cost, reliable monitoring.
Recent advances in low-cost remote monitoring systems have made it
possible and practical to perform structural health monitoring (SHM) on a
large scale. However, it is difficult for a single remote monitoring system to
cover a wide range of SHM applications due to the amount of specialization
required. For the remote monitoring system to be flexible, sustainable, and
robust, this project gives a new cost-effective.
IGTI25 TITLE: IOT_Airport Baggage Conveyor and Voice notification using
Android Technology

In recent years, the number of passengers visiting the major

international airport, Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru has
increased dramatically. The passenger traffic has gone beyond the capacity
of the airport as it was constructed for. One important infrastructure in the
airport is the baggage handling system which consists of a set of conveyors
that transport checked baggage to the baggage unloading zones or the buffer
zones. How to efficiently operate the baggage handling system is of critical
importance. Simulation models are widely used to evaluate the system
performances and to compare alternatives. However, modeling and analyzing
the baggage handling system is not straightforward. However, the means of
modeling and analyzing the baggage handling system is not in good form.
The simulation model itself is a black box, making the validation of a model
a challenge. In this study, we propose a new design where it consists of
microcontroller, mp3 module to give voice output, bomb detection sensor and
SQL database to store passenger information.

IGTI26 TITLE: IOT Based Underground Cable Fault Detection

The project is intended to detect the location of fault in underground cable
lines from the base station in kilometers using a Renesas micro-controller.
This project uses the standard concept of Ohms law i.e., when a low DC
voltage is applied at the feeder end through a series resistor to the Cable lines,
then current would vary depending upon the location of fault in the short
circuited cable.
In the urban areas, the electrical cables run in undergrounds instead of
overhead lines. Whenever the fault occurs in underground cable it is difficult
to detect the exact location of the fault for process of repairing that particular
cable. The proposed system finds the exact location of the fault.

IGTI27 TITLE: IOT Based Automated Waste Segregator

Rapid increase in volume and types of solid and hazardous waste as a
result of continuous economic growth, urbanization and industrialization, is
becoming a burgeoning problem for national and local governments to ensure
effective and sustainable management of waste. It is estimated that in 2006
the total amount of municipal solid waste generated globally reached 2.02
billion tones, representing a 7% annual increase since 2003 (Global Waste
Management Market Report 2007). The segregation, handling, transport and
disposal of waste are to be properly managed so as to minimize the risks to
the health and safety of patients, the public, and the environment. The
economic value of waste is best realized when it is segregated. Currently there
is no such system of segregation of dry, wet and metallic wastes at a
household level. This paper proposes an Automated Waste Segregator
(AWS) which is a cheap, easy to use solution for a segregation system at
households, so that it can be sent directly for processing. It is designed to sort
the refuse into metallic waste, wet waste and dry waste. The AWS employs
parallel resonant impedance sensing mechanism to identify metallic items,
and capacitive sensors to distinguish between wet and dry waste.
Experimental results show that the segregation of waste into metallic, wet
and dry waste has been successfully implemented using the AWS.

IGTI28 TITLE: IOT Ayurvedic medicine Tulsi, Mint, Turmeric Land Farming
with IoT & Wireless Sensor Network

Almost from the ancient and medieval times, medicinal plants are viewed
with utmost reverence. Medicinal herbs which have brawn to combat the
terrible known and unknown diseases. At present, people moderate the fact
of significance of herbal plants. But, obviously they have their genuine
standard in medicinal field. In this paper, exploration prediction and
geographical location of herbal plants in hilly areas are detected using WSN
technology.
The vital environmental factors that are responsible for the herbal plants
sustainment in canopy are soil and weather conditions which include the
basic conditions like temperature, pH and humidity. Usage of intelligent
wireless sensors over a spread of forest land results with various
environmental conditions of the soil and weather which can possibly predict
the sustainment of all herbs. A main server often called as “IOT” is also used
to maintain a set of fixed database of certain herbal plants that can possibly
dwell in a particular area. A comparison is made between the obtained real
time sensor values and the database that is uploaded in the main server.
Ultimately, this setup helps medicinal field by telling the existence of
precious herb in places where man can hardly enter those places

IGTI30 TITLE: ER-LOCK: NEXT GENERATION AUTO THEFT

PREVENTION SYSTEM USING SMART GRAVITATIONAL LOCK
VEHICLE TRACKING WITH GPS FENCING

An efficient automotive security system is implemented for anti-theft and

accident detection, using an embedded system consisting of a Global
Positioning System (GPS) and a Wi-Fi Module. The system in the event of
theft will send predefined message to the owner of vehicle. The user (if he
feels his vehicle is getting stolen) can start tracking the position of targeted
vehicle on Google Earth on a dedicated vehicle tracker app. Using GPS
locator, the target’s current location is determined and sent, along with
various parameters received by vehicle’s data port, via Internet through Wifi
module that is connected to PC or smartphone. Since the main medium of
communication is internet (system to user and vice versa), the term IoT or
‘Internet of Things’ is implemented here. The owner will have the choice of
cutting the supply of fuel to the engine if he wants to take immediate action
apprehend the thief. This feature will be present on the vehicle tracker app.
The other aspect of the project is the accident detection. The process is same
as in theft detection, i.e., when accident does take place; the accelerometer’s
readings will trigger the system to start sending coordinates of the accident
site to the law enforcement authorities and hospitals, in response to which
emergency action can be taken by them immediately.
IGTI31 TITLE: Job Vacancy? Handicap, Drop your Resume Work Assistant for
Handicap

In today’s world communication has become so easy due to integration of

communication technologies with internet. However the visually challenged
people find it very difficult to utilize this technology because of the fact that
using them requires visual perception and in our country around 2.78% of
peoples are not able to speak (dumb). Their communications with others are
only using the motion of their hands and expressions. Some peoples are easily
able to get the information from their motions. The remaining is not able to
understand their way of conveying the message. In order to overcome the
complexity of the dumb and blind peoples this project has been proposed.
This system is based on the motion sensor (accelerometer). Gesture based
system is a large scale multi-microcontroller based system being designed to
facilitate the communication among the dumb, deaf and blind communities
and their communication with the normal people. This system can be
dynamically reconfigured to work as a “smart device”. Gesture discussed is
basically a data glove and a microcontroller based system. Data glove can
detect almost all the movements of a hand and microcontroller based system
converts some specified movements into human recognizable voice and
generates email with predefined images and subject. The data glove is
equipped with accelerometer sensor.

IGTI32 TITLE: IOT - Safe Drive - Dangerous Driving Recognition of Delivery

Boys

Two wheelers are widely used than other form of vehicles due to its low cost
and simplicity .Drunken driving and Drowsy driving are the major factors for
such road accidents. Some statics shows that 35% of the accidents are caused
by two wheelers and in that 60% of the two wheeler accidents are caused due
to lack of consciousness
From above, taking in to consideration the safety of delivery boys who works
for online business travels across areas using two wheelers, where safety of
bike and rash driving method of rider counts. Also to provide safety to
pedestrians. Hence to track the activities of such rider and to detect rash
driving, riding this project has been proposed. This project aims for
avoidance of accidents and develop rash driving ,riding detection system.
The proposed system is an intelligent rash riding method detection Additional
feature of accident avoidance detection module will be installed on the bike.
IGTI33 TITLE: IOT – Prisoner Posture and behavior Analysis

Prison is a place which gives shelter and correctional therapy to the persons
of a particular category. Prison means a place for detention. In considering a
prisoner’s persona, researchers have identified that emotions in prisons are
volatile and can be heightened, which can be disruptive and result in
unwanted behaviors. Keeping above factor in mind this project has been
proposed. In this project the system is designed to make analysis on posture
and behavior of prisoner based on sensor value and uploading the sensor
value to the cloud/server for further action.

IGTI34 TITLE: GESTURE BASED BILLING TROLLEY FOR SHOPPING

MALLS USING RFID

: Purchasing and Shopping at big malls is becoming daily activity in metro

cities. We can see big rush at these malls on holidays and weekends. This
crowd becomes huge when there are special offers and discount. People
purchase different items and put them in trolley. After total purchase one need
to go to billing counter for payments. At billing counter the cashier prepare
the bill using bar code reader which is very time consuming process and
results in long queue at billing counter. To make hassle free , this project is
developed a gesture based embedded system. Radio frequency identification
(RFID) technology may not only be useful for streamlining inventory and
supply chains: it could also make shoppers swarm. Each product of shopping
mall, super markets will be provided with a RFID tag, to identify its type.
Each shopping cart is designed or implemented with a Product Identification
that contains microcontroller, LCD, an RFID reader and RF module.
Purchasing product information will be read through a RFID reader on
shopping cart. The central billing system gets the cart information and
information will be sent to android using GSM module. Main aim of this
paper was to provide an automatic billing to avoid queue in malls and super
markets.
IGTI35 TITLE: Mindwave based robot control and home automation

Brain Computer Interface (BCI) systems are the tools which are proposed to
help the damaged people who are impotent of making a motor response to
interface with a computer using brain signal. The aim of BCI is to translate
brain activity into digital form which performs as a command for a computer.
The BCI application can be used in different areas like Education, Industrial,
Gaming, robotics, home automation and Medical areas.
In my project, EEGbased Brain controlled Robotic, and Home automation

allow the paralyzed people to control their robotic and home appliances
without any difficulty, provided it is more increased, portable and wearable.

IGTI36 TITLE: An IOT Based Agriculture Application for Data Monitoring

Based on Embedded and MATLAB Image Processing

Internet of Things and Image processing have been so far been applied for
various applications independently. Their individual application in the field
of agriculture exists and has achieved certain degree of success, however the
combination of both these technology so far is non-existent. This paper
describes an approach to combine loT and image processing in order to
determine the environmental factor or man-made factor which is specifically
hindering the growth of the plant. Using an lOT sensing network which takes
the readings of the crucial environmental factors and the image of the leaf
lattice, it is processed under MATLAB software by the help of histogram
analysis to arrive at conclusive results.

IGTI39 TITLE: IOT – Smart Parking System through Website Reservation

Internet of Things (IOT) plays a vital role in connecting the

surrounding environmental things to the network and made easy to access
those un-internet things from any remote location. It’s inevitable for the
people to update with the growing technology. And generally people are
facing problems on parking vehicles in parking slots in a city. In this study
we design a Smart Parking System (SPS) which enables the user to find the
nearest parking area and gives availability of parking slots in that respective
parking area. And it mainly focus on reducing the time in finding the parking
lots and also it avoids the unnecessary travelling through filled parking lots
in a parking area. Thus it reduces the fuel consumption which in turn reduces
carbon footprints in an atmosphere. Index Terms- Internet of Things (IOT),
Smart Parking System. Parking in major cities, particularly with dense traffic,
directly affects the traffic flow and people’s life. In this project, we introduce
a new smart parking system that is based on intelligent resource allocation,
reservation. The proposed system solves the current parking problems by
offering guaranteed parking reservations with the lowest possible searching
time and resource utilization for parking managers.

IGTI40 TITLE: IOT - Smart Socket for Residence with AWS

With advancement of Automation technology, life is getting simpler and
easier in all aspects. In today’s world Automatic systems are being preferred
over manual system. With the rapid increase in the number of users of internet
over the past decade has made Internet a part and parcel of life, and IOT is
the latest and emerging internet technology. Internet of things is a growing
network of everyday object-from industrial machine to consumer goods that
can share information and complete tasks while you are busy with other
activities. House lighting using IOT is a system that uses computers or
mobile devices to control basic home functions and features automatically
through internet from anywhere around the world, an automated home is
sometimes called a smart home. It is meant to save the electric power and
human energy. The home automation system differs from other system by
allowing the user to operate the system from anywhere around the world
through internet connection. This project is based on the renesas

IGTI41 TITLE: Three level authentication system for tenable transaction and
abridgment of ATM card

The flexible use of credit and debit card transactions has become increasingly
ubiquitous and so have the associated vulnerabilities that make them a
common target for cybercriminals. Furthermore, a prevalent complication
associated with blocking of ATM cards involves tedious interactive processes
and even possibly long waiting times during interaction with customer care
services. Using a three factor authentication scheme employing RFID Dash
Matrix Algorithm and One-time password, we describe and quantify the
potential to overcome common transaction liabilities (brute force attack,
shoulder surfing, skimming of ATM cards, etc.). The auxiliary feature of
blocking ATM cards is implemented using a Pin Number authentication
scheme and RFID technology, implemented both in RFID enabled phones
and phones with the help of an receiver and Bluetooth. The proposed system,
therefore, ensures both secure usage of ATM cards and cost effectiveness by
utility of novel and increasingly common technology, when also
simultaneously proving to be user friendly.

IGTI43 TITLE: IOT based Camcorder piracy Addhar Based Anti-Piracy Screen

During recent years, a few countries have put in place online antipiracy laws
and there has been some major enforcement actions against violators. This
raises the question that to what extent antipiracy actions have been effective
in deterring online piracy. This is a challenging issue to explore because of
the difficulty to capture user behaviour, and to identify the subtle effect of
various underlying (and potentially opposing) causes. In this system, we
tackle this question by examining the impact of two major antipiracy
actions.Camcorder piracy by severely degrading the visual quality of the
recorded movie while making the interference signals invisible to the
audience. Infrared emitters are installed in movie theatres to interfere with
the camcorder and create glares in the recorded frames.

IGTI45 TITLE: IoT & Android based On-Street and Off-Street Parking
Availability Prediction & Space Reservation

In the present world where we live there are already devices, which are
connected to each other and help in day to day aspects, for example wearable
fitness devices, sensors which help in automatic garages, RFIDs in ID cards
used in Universities and Industries to gain and lock access. However, imagine
this after a few years where billions of devices will be connected to each other
including cars, phones, jet planes, appliances, wearable gear etc.
Internet of Things (loT) is an going development of the Internet by which
everyday 'things' objects have communication capabilities which allow them
to send and receive data.Parking guidance and information (PGI) systems are
becoming important parts of intelligent transportation systems due to the fact
that cars and infrastructure are becoming more and more connected. One
major challenge in developing efficient PGI systems is the uncertain nature
of parking availability in parking facilities (both on-street and off-street). A
reliable PGI system should have the capability of predicting the availability
of parking at the arrival time with reliable accuracy. In this paper, we study
the nature of the parking availability data in a big city and propose a
multivariate autoregressive model that takes into account both temporal and
spatial correlations of parking availability. The model is used to predict
parking availability with high accuracy.

IGTI46 TITLE: SMART BIO SERVICES :AUTOMATIC ACCIDENT

DETECTION AND AMBULANCE RESCUE SYSTEM

Road accidents and traffic congestion are the major problems in urban
areas. Currently there is no technology for accident detection. Also due to the
delay in reaching of the ambulance to the accident location and the traffic
congestion in between accident location and hospital increases the chances
of the death of victim. There is a need of introducing a system to reduce the
loss of life due to accidents and the time taken by the ambulance to reach the
hospital. To overcome the drawback of existing system we will implement
the new system in which there is an automatic detection of accident through
sensors provided in the vehicle. A main server unit houses the database of all
hospitals in the city. A GPS and GSM module in the concerned vehicle will
send the location of the accident to the main server which will rush an
ambulance from a nearest hospital to the accident spot. Along with this there
would be control of traffic light signals in the path of the ambulance using
RF communication. This will minimize the time of ambulance to reach the
hospital. A patient monitoring system in the ambulance will send the vital
parameters of the patient to the concerned hospital. This system is fully
automated, thus it finds the accident spot and helping to reach the hospital in
time

IGTI47 TITLE: KNOWLEDGE BASED REAL TIME MONITORING

SYSTEM FOR AQUACULTURE USING IOT

Internet of things is one of the rapidly growing fields for delivering social and
economic benefits for emerging and developing economy. The field of IOT
is expanding its wings in all the domains like medical, industrial,
transportation, education, mining etc. Now-adays with the advancement in
integrated on chip computers like Arduino, Raspberry pi the technology is
reaching the ground level with its application in agriculture and aquaculture.
Water quality is a critical factor while culturing aquatic organisms. It mainly
depends on several parameters like dissolved oxygen, ammonia, pH,
temperature, salt, nitrates, carbonates and water level etc. The quality of
water is monitored continuously with the help of sensors to ensure growth
and survival of aquatic life. The sensed data is transferred to the aqua farmer
mobile through cloud. As a result preventive measures can be taken in time
to minimize the losses and increase the productivity.
IGTI48 TITLE: IOT-WSN based Weather Monitoring & Early Warning System
for Flood Disaster Management

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) behaves as a digital skin, providing a

virtual layer where the information about the physical world can be accessed
by any computational system. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) have been
Employed to collect data about physical phenomena. As a result, they are an
invaluable resource for realizing the vision of the Internet of Things (IoT).
The Internet of Things (IoT) provides a virtual view, via the Internet Protocol,
to a huge variety of real life objects, ranging from a car, to a teacup, to a
building, to trees in a forest. Its appeal is the ubiquitous generalized access to
the status and location of any “thing” we may be interested in. The Internet
of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects, devices, vehicles,
buildings and other items which are embedded with electronics, software,
sensors, and network connectivity, which enables these objects to collect and
exchange data. WSNs are integrated into the “IoT”, where sensor nodes join
the Internet dynamically, and use it to collaborate and accomplish their tasks.
Wireless sensor networks (WSN) are well suited for long-term environmental
data acquisition for IoT representation. Weather monitoring are made by
collecting quantitative data about the current state of the atmosphere on a
given place and using scientific understanding of atmospheric processes to
project how the atmosphere will evolve on that place.

which consists of Renesas controller, 3 Sensors and Solar power. There will
be one area selected. The data of different tree units can be collected by this
units. The each tree unit will give the information to base station using GSM
module. At main server GUI using one authorized person whom received the
message and he will taking action to provide security. This data can be used
by concern forest authorities to take preventive action.
IGTI50 TITLE: IoT Based Monitoring and Smart Planning of Urban Solid Waste
Management

With increase in population, the scenario of cleanliness with respect to waste

management is degrading tremendously. The overflow of garbage in public
areas creates the unhygienic condition in the nearby surrounding. It may
provoke several serious diseases amongst the nearby people. It also degrades
the valuation of the area. To avoid this and to enhance the cleaning, ‘smart
waste management system’ is proposed in this project. In the proposed system,
the level of waste in the dustbins is detected with the help of Sensor systems,
and communicated to the authorized control room through GSM/GPRS
system. Microcontroller is used to interface the sensor system with
GSM/GPRS system. An android application is developed to monitor the
desired information related to the waste for different selected locations. This
will help to manage the garbage collection efficiently.

IGTI51 TITLE: IOT, GPRS & Raspberry PI Based Global Industrial Process
Monitoring Through Wireless Communication

In modern industrial field, the requirement for monitoring and controlling

system is one of the most important criteria for minimizing the power
consumption. The Internet of Things (IOT) is an emerging key technology
for future industries and everyday lives of people, where a myriad of battery
operated sensors, actuators, and smart objects are connected to the Internet to
provide services such as mobile healthcare, intelligent transport system,
environmental monitoring, etc. With the development of infrastructure such
as high speed railways and smart cities, more and more safety infrastructure
needs to be monitored. In the meantime, a lot of old infrastructure such as
pipelines, bridges and building needs to be monitored for lifecycle
assessment, improving safety and security. New infrastructure is required for
low cost, reliable monitoring.
Here we are creating an android application which receives all data
from hardware and displaying it, and we providing buttons to control the blub
and motors and that storing in database, for that we providing two type of
login’s (manager login, senior manager login). And that received data storing
in database by using web server concept. Once the manager login he can
capable to see the related information in his time period, and other one senior

and status notification of the water pump.

IGTI53 TITLE: IOT - Wearable Device – Yoga and Exercise Streamer

It is a working model which incorporates sensors to measure

parameters like body temperature, Blood Pressure and patient movements. A
microcontroller board is used for analyzing the inputs from the patient and
any abnormality felt by the patient causes the monitoring system to give an
alarm. Also all the process parameters within an interval selectable by the
user are recorded online. This is very useful for future analysis and review of
patient’s health condition. For more versatile medical applications, this
project can be improvised, heart beat sensors and Blood pressure measuring
systems, thereby making it useful in hospitals as a very efficient and
dedicated patient care system. Hospitals are maintaining the patient’s details.
All the patients’ results are showing a system using embedded sensor. When
the patient health is to be changed the report will be producing the alarm and
also the doctor monitoring the patient’s health condition. Finally, we propose
patient’s health changing details and producing the alarm signal

IGTI54 TITLE: IOT: Industrial Breath Exhale

Now a days Air quality is affected by various economic and industrial

activities which alter the composition of air and affect the environment
locally, regionally and globally. Both natural and/or anthropogenic activities
introduce air pollutants which can be solid (large or sub-molecular), liquid or
gas into the atmosphere that pose problem to human health and other life
forms on earth.
The hazardous wastes (gas/air)generated from industrial processes need to be
properly treated and disposed to avoid contamination of soil, surface and
ground water. For ascertaining the nature and extent of mitigative measures,
the hazardous wastes are required to be analysed and characterised. Hence
the project has been proposed , in this project the analysis of exhaled gas/air
from industries is done and uploading the measured values to the
cloud/server.

IGTI56 TITLE: IOT based semi-automated rash driving detection by using

Accelerometer sensors

Now a day accidents is a common feature of deaths. The common feature

of accidents will be rash driving, signal jumping, drunk and driving, due to
minor drivers etc. Rash driving is most dangerous for people. Risky driving
primarily includes heavy either rudely or driving under the power of alcohol,
is a major grounds of traffic accidents throughout the world. They provide an
early detection to alert the dangerous vehicle maneuvers related to rash
driving. There are lots of sensors used in various techniques to detect the rash
driving. Such techniques and sensors are being discussed a in this survey.
Rash driving is a major cause of traffic accidents throughout the world. We
intend to design a system aimed at early detection and alert of dangerous
vehicle driving patterns related to rash driving. The entire implementation
requires only a mobile phone placed in vehicle and with accelerometer. In

dangerous vehicle driving patterns related to rash driving.
IGTI57 TITLE: IOT-Intelligent Food and Grain Storage Management System
for Warehouse

The main aim of this project to overcome the food losses that mainly occurs
during the period from harvest to retail marketing and are due to changes in
physical volume (i.e. weight loss, decayed or damaged and discarded foods)
or economic value (i.e. quality losses due to poor appearance or colour
changes), and often result in loss of nutritional value, shorter shelf life and/or
compromised food safety between the time of harvest and final retail
marketing.
Hence this project has been proposed to preserve food products. The
system consists of single micro controller, sensors and GSM for wireless

IGTI58 TITLE: IOT based Smart Bus Navigation for Urban Bus Rider

A key challenge for rapidly growing cities of today is to provide effective

public transport services to satisfy the increasing demands for urban mobility.
Towards this goal, the Internet of Things has great potential to overcome
existing deficiencies of public transport systems given its ability to embed
smart technology into real-life urban contexts. In this paper, we show how
this paradigm can be applied to the public transport domain and present the
Urban Bus Navigator, an Internet-of Things enabled navigation system for
urban bus riders. UBN provides two novel information services for bus users:
1) Traffic jam: crowd-aware route recommendation and 2)micro navigation
and 3) Bus update for waiting passengers. Micro navigation refers to fine-
grained contextual guidance of passengers along a bus journey by
recognizing boarded bus vehicles and tracking the passenger’s journey
progress. Crowd-aware route recommendation collects and predicts crowd
levels on bus journeys to suggest better and less crowded routes to bus riders.
We present the technical system behind the Urban Bus Navigator and report
on results from an in-the-wild study in Madrid that indicates removed barriers
for public transport usage and a positive impact on how people feel about bus
journeys.
IGTI59 TITLE: IOT based Garbage and Street Light Monitoring System

Today we see the pictures of garbage bins being overfull and all the garbage
spills out resulting in pollution. Hence our problem statement is to design a
system based on any microcontroller for collecting the garbage from
particular area whose public garbage bins are overflowing with prior concern.
We are using a concept of Internet of Things in this project. So, continuous
monitoring of garbage bins will helps to keep environment clean and safe.
This paper also includes Street light monitoring which avoids accidents
during night. Hence this paper will help to reduce power consumption and
manpower.

IGTI60 TITLE: Digital Memories Based Mobile User Authentication for IoT

The increasing number of devices within the IoT Is raising concerns over the
efficiency and exploitability of existing authentication methods. The
weaknesses of such methods, in particular passwords, are well documented.
Although alternative methods have been proposed, they often rely on
users being able to accurately recall complex and often unmemorable
information. With the profusion of separate online accounts, this can often be
a difficult task. The emerging digital memories concept involves the creation
of a repository of memories specific to individual l’s. We believe this
abundance of personal data can be utilised as a form of authentication. In this
paper, we propose our digital memories based two-factor authentication
mechanism, and also present our promising evaluation results.

IGTI62 TITLE: IOT based Novel Low-Cost Sensor for Human Bite Force
Measurement

The maximum bite force (MBF) and maximal voluntary bite force (MVBF)
of the human jaw can correlate to the wellbeing and oral health of the patient.
Intraoral devices for bite-force sensing have several applications in
odontology and maxillofacial surgery, as bite-force measurements provide
additional information to help understand the characteristics of bruxism
disorders and can also be of help for the evaluation of post-surgical evolution
and for comparison of alternative treatments. A new system for measuring
human bite forces is proposed in this work. This system has future
applications for the monitoring of bruxism events and as a complement for
its conventional diagnosis. Bruxism is a pathology consisting of grinding or
tight clenching of the upper and lower teeth, which leads to several problems
such as lesions to the teeth, headaches, or facial pain and important disorders
of the temporo-mandibular joint.
The prototype discussed in this paper makes use of force sensors. This
permits a quantitative assessment of bite-force, without requiring intra-mouth
batteries, and can provide supplementary information to polysomnographic
recordings, current most adequate early diagnostic method, so as to initiate
corrective actions before irreversible dental wear appears. This permits a
quantitative assessment of bite-force, without requiring intra-mouth batteries,

actions before irreversible dental wear appears.
IGTI63 TITLE: IOT - RECoS – Smart Socket for Electric Vehicle, Washing
Machine, Geyzer Energy Control

To avoid resources on green earth being exhausted much earlier by

human beings, energysaving has been one of the key issues in our everyday
lives. In fact, energy control for some appliances is an effective method to
save energy at home, since it prevents users from consuming too much
energy. Even though there are numerous commercial energy-effective
products that are helpful in energy saving for particular appliances, it is still
hard to a comprehensive solution to effectively reduce appliances' energy
consumption in a house. Therefore, in this paper, an intelligent energy control
scheme, named the residence energy control system (RECoS) is proposed,
which is developed based on wireless smart socket and Internet of Things
technology to minimize energy consumption of home appliances without
deploying sensors. The RECoS provides four control modes, including peak-
time control, energy-limit control, automatic control, and user control. The
former two are operated for all smart sockets in a house, while the latter two
are used by individual smart sockets, aiming to enhance the functionality of
energy control. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme can
save up to 43.4% of energy for some appliances in one weekday.

minimize the effect of these parameters without affecting the natural
environment and provide live updates to avoid conflicts.

IGTI65 TITLE – SECURED MEDICAL TAGS FOR REDUCING MEDICAL

ERRORS AND DRUG INTERACTION WITH EHR SYSTEM

Near Field Communication (NFC) is a short range, standard based wireless

communication technology that allows two-way interaction between two
NFC-enabled devices. This paper explains how the technology can be used
to meet the challenges in the healthcare management. This technology is user-
friendly and commercially viable and can be easily used by a NFC cards,
tags, key chains. Each NFC tag has a unique number which can be used for
identification of patients in a hospital. The NFC tag can be used as an
electronic health record to store the patient’s medical history, prescriptions
and real-time sensor data. The current health monitoring methods to measure
the various health parameters are tedious and time consuming. The use of
NFC along with wireless sensors intends to help the hospital staff to quickly
access and monitor the patient’s health record and health status respectively.
The NFC technology provides ways to speed up the processes in hospitals;
the doctors equipped with NFC-enabled tablets, computers can view all the
information about a patient within seconds, without any issue of data being
mixed. NFC provides accuracy and efficiency in healthcare as well as it is
economically feasible.

IGTI66 TITLE:DEVELOPMENT OF SMART HELMET BASED ON IOT

TECHNOLOGY FOR SAFETY AND ACCIDENT DETECTION

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a new evolution in technological advancement

taking place in the world today. This paradigm allows physical world objects
in our surroundings to be connected to the Internet. This idea comes to life
by utilizing two architecture; the Sensing Entity in the environment that
collects data and connects itself to the cloud and the Cloud Service that hosts
the data from the environment and controls the parameters. The combination
of wireless sensor networks and cloud computing is becoming a popular
strategy for the IoT era. IOT has enabled us to connect our day to day devices
in a network for a sole purpose to exchange data. With the growing number
of 2-wheel motor vehicles, frequency of accidents is on the rise. A major
portion of the fatalities occur because the person was both not wearing a
helmet, or his accident was not reported in time, and he could not be saved
because he was riding while drunk. Today a number of countries has made it
mandatory to wear helmet while riding. We propose mechanisms that can
detect if one is wearing the helmet, detect accidents, and detect whether the
person has over-consumed alcohol. These information is send to the
concerned person about the accidents, and detect whether the person has
over-consumed alcohol. These information is send to the concerned person
about the status of the person who is accessing the vehicle.

IGTI67 TITLE – AUTOMATIC DETECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF

POTHOLES AND HUMPS ON ROADS TO AID DRIVERS
ABSTRACT - Roads in India normally have speed breakers so that the
vehicle’s speed can be controlled to avoid accidents. However, these speed
breakers are unevenly distributed with uneven and unscientific heights.
Potholes, formed due to heavy rains and movement of heavy vehicles, also
become a major reason for traumatic accidents and loss of human lives. To
address the above mentioned problems, a cost effective solution is needed that
collects the information about the severity of potholes and humps and also
helps drivers to drive safely. With the proposed system an attempt has been
made to endorse drivers to ward off the accidents caused due to potholes and
raised humps.
IGTI68 TITLE – AN INTELLIGENT SYSTEM FOR INFANT CRY
DETECTION AND INFORMATION IN REAL TIME USING IOT
ABSTRACT – Infants or a toddler needs parents’ attention 24 hours a day
and 7 days a week, which is practically impossible due to other priorities like
house hold activities, official works and personal works. Baby care centre or
nanny is the two options available which involves lot of passion. We live in
a world where technologies are used all around us. The new generations of
parents were raised with technology. There are many things these parents will
buy to help them care for their baby. So, there is a need for safe and secure
place to take good care of the children’s need with minimum human
intervention, which can be accomplished with the help of a “smart baby
cradle”. A “smart baby cradle” provides parents a smart automatic cradle
system to help these parents monitor and comfort the baby. The smart baby
cradle allows them to monitoring their babies, the cradle, play soothing
music, even speak to the baby, observing the temperature of the infant, bed

ABSTRACT - For many days we are reading in the newspapers about

smuggling of the trees like sandal, “Sagwan” etc. These trees are very costly
as well as less available in the world. These are use in the medical sciences as
well as cosmetics. Because of huge amount of money involved in selling of
such tree woods lots of incidents are happening of cutting of trees and their
smuggling. In India also in the jungles of Karnataka and Tamilnadu notorious
Smuggler “Virrappan” did the smuggling of such trees for so many years. To
restrict such smuggling and to save the forests around the globe some
preventive measures need to be deployed. We are developing such a system
which can be used to restrict this smuggling. Smuggling of sandalwood has
created socio economic and law and order problems in areas bordering the
state of Tamil Nadu and other regions in India. The purpose of this project is
to save valuable trees which have high demand in market like teak,
Sandalwood, etc. Here we have used GPS Technology i.e., Global Positioning
System from which we can get the location of where the poaching is done.
Monitor & control of parameters like Tilt of Tree, Cutting of Tree, burning of
tree is done through the IOT and can be accessed on the Android app installed
in android smart phone.

IGTI70 TITLE - LIFI BASED PAITENT MONITORING SYSTEM

ABSTRACT - Telemedicine is a rapidly developing application of clinic
medicine where medical information is transferred through the phone or other
networks for the purpose of consulting and performing remote medical
procedures or examinations. Telemedicine can be applied to a greater extend
in the field of cardiology where ECG serves as the major tool. This project
elaborates the experience; a methodology adopted and highlights various
design aspects to be considered for making telemedicine in patient monitoring
system effective. In this method, the patient’s vital signs like heart beating
rate, temperature and glucose level are captured and the values are continually
displayed on the doctor’s phone using VLC system.
