Important Instructions:

The candidate, who has not been shortlisted but is not in agreement with
the rejection of his/her application and is of the opinion that he/she has
substantive reason(s) to be shortlisted in accordance with the strategy, modalities
and shortlisting criteria adopted while scrutinizing, may inform the Commission
accordingly with adequate justification for such a claim and as to why his/her
application should not be rejected in the category of rejection indicated below.
Such information may be furnished through e-mail to [email protected] by 20th
October, 2018. Mails obtained after this date, would not be opened. No
documents are to be submitted alongwith such e-mails. Even if submitted, they
would not be opened, considered or entertained. All the e-mails, hence received,
would be examined and if in any case the grounds/reasons indicated therein are
found to be correct as per the strategy, modalities and shortlisting criteria
adopted, such applications would be shortlisted and rejections of others would be
maintained. Thereafter, revised and updated scrutiny details would be uploaded
in this space. No individual replies would be given to any of these e-mails.

Modalities: i) PS has been done on the basis of the report generated by the
computer system as per the information filled up by the candidates
in their online application and the supporting documents uploaded
along with the same.
ii) Applicants who had not submitted Class 10th Marksheet in support
of languages studied upto Class 10th have been rejected as LEQ-
A(iii).
iii) Total experience of the candidate as furnished in the online
application has been taken into consideration.
iv) Candidates whose experience is not in the relevant field as per RRs
are rejected under LEQ-B.
v) Candidates who do not possess Diploma in Journalism but have
done Graduation or Post Graduation in Journalism/Mass
Communication have been considered eligible.
vi) Applicants with qualification such as MBA/ MA, Graduation or PG
in Entertainment Communication, Audio visual Communication,
Radio & TV Production, Electronic Media, Visual Communication
etc have not been considered eligible.
vii) Experience of working in Journalism/ Communication/ Journalism +
Technical department in any media organisation, Government
department, Radio/ TV Channels or Print Media have been
considered relevant. Those working as Reporter/ Anchor/
Presenter/ Host/ Recording etc have been considered eligible for
short-listing. However experience of working as Radio Jockey has
not been considered relevant.
viii) Experience of working in Media Monitoring Centre in Broadcast
Engineering Consultants India Limited has not been considered
relevant.
 ix) Teaching experience has not been considered relevant.
x) Experience during training period is considered relevant but
experience gained during internship has not been considered
relevant.
xi) Experience certificates are to be in prescribed proforma in terms of
R(C&P)’s Circular No. F.8/84/2010-R (C&P) dated 23.12.2010
However, wherever the applicants have not submitted experience
certificates in prescribe proforma, their experience certificate have
been considered on merit. But those who have mentioned any
Annexure therein and did not submit the same have been rejected
as ‘Incomplete’.
xii) Appointment letters, office orders, resignation letters, pay
certificates, service certificates and the certificates attested by the
candidates themselves or self employment certificates have not
been considered as proof of experience. Such candidates have
also been considered as lacking relevant experience but rejected
under ‘Incomplete’ category.
xiii) Experience Certificates without clearly specifying the nature of
duties have not been considered and rejected as ‘Incomplete’.
Similarly, applicants who have claimed relevant experience but the
EC attached in support with that is not of the entire duration
claimed or do not support the claim made have been rejected.
Only the time period of relevant experience for which EC has been
submitted have been considered.
xiv) Applications wherein only one experience has been claimed & it is
relevant, but EC is not uptodate or no EC has been submitted and
applications with more than one experience but up-to-date EC of
the current job (which is also relevant) has not been submitted,
have been considered subject to the submission of supporting
documents called from them, provided the documents submitted
being in order.
xv) Some of the candidates can be rejected under more than one
category. They have been rejected under the category considered
as most appropriate.
