The document is an exam for a Computer Architecture and Organization course. It consists of two parts: Part A contains short answer questions, and Part B contains longer answer questions from which students must answer 3. Part A asks students to convert a decimal number to hexadecimal, define terms like micro program and cache coherence, and describe concepts like virtual memory and source-initiated transfer. Part B questions involve topics like register organization, cache memory mapping, I/O techniques, interrupt handling, inter-processor communication, and floating-point arithmetic pipelining. Students must answer the questions by relating these computer architecture and organization concepts.
