1- Block diagrams should be handmade and a give a small description of its working.
2- Assignment should be neat and clean.
3- Late assignments will not be accepted.

Q-1 In a rolling machine, the required metal thickness is achieved by using a feedback control system
as shown below. Draw the block diagram of the system.

Q-2 Consider the following closed loop block diagram. What are the signals Y and Z.? What is a
sensor. If the driver is replaced by an electronic device: what do, we call this device and what do
we call the closed loop system.

Q-3 Draw a block diagram to control the radar antenna position. Mention the controller and the
feedback sensor.

Q-4 Draw block diagram for a humidity control system for an Air-conditioner. Mention the control
component and the sensor used explicitly.

Q-5 Draw block diagram of temperature control system of a boiler. Also mention the component
clearly.

Q-6 Draw block diagram of a sun tracking system for a solar power system. Also mention the
component clearly.

Q-7 Draw block diagram for air filling system in car tires with feedback control system such that it
stops when the desired pressure is achieved.
