Paraphrase Rubric

This rubric evaluates student paraphrasing. It assesses formatting of citations, maintaining original content while rephrasing in the writer's own words, presenting a broad overview, attributing the source, using proper grammar and mechanics, choosing appropriate words, and structuring sentences well. Students are scored on a scale for each criteria from not meeting expectations to exceeding expectations.
