Prac 108A Midterm PDF

This document contains 10 practice problems about vector spaces and linear algebra concepts: 1. It asks a series of true/false questions about properties of subspaces, linear independence, and linear maps. 2. It states that if two subspaces V1 and V2 of a complex vector space C7 have dimensions 3 and 5 respectively, then their intersection V1 ∩ V2 is not equal to {0}. 3. It asks to prove that if V1 and V2 are subspaces of a vector space V with V1 contained in V2, then their sum V1 + V2 is equal to V2.
