    Homework
    READING:
    Students will fill in a log each week to record their reading
    both in and out of school. It will be given on Monday and
    returned the following Monday. They should have a
    minimum of 90 minutes for the week.This includes 30
    minutes (or more) of Lexia practice. They will also have a
    chance to conference with the teacher about what they read
    in order to encourage them to find books that they’re
    interested in.

    Math:
    Students will fill in a separate log each week to record their
    math practice out of school. They should do this for a
    minimum of 30 minutes each week. This practice can be in
    the form of the following:
    - IXL skills
    - Math Facts (Xtra Math, Flashcards, etc.)
    - Card games (for example: Uno, 5 Crowns, Rummy,
    Rack-o, Pass the Pigs, etc.)
    - Dice games (for example: Farkle, Yahtzee, etc.)
    Math Log

    Math Practice Ideas:

    - IXL Skills (check the board for which ones to do!)


    - Xtra Math
    - Math Facts (flashcards or getting quizzed by family member)
    - Card Game

    - Farkle, Yahtzee
    - Practice page(s) available in your classroom
