    Recommendation for Mr. Ede Mehta Wardhana

    I am writing this letter in support of Mr. Ede Mehta Wardhana, who was a student of
    Marine Engineering Department at Faculty of Marine Technology in Sepuluh Nopember Institute
    of Technology. In my capacity as a senior lecturer of the department and the head of department, I
    have known him for four years of his study and have found him to be an aspiring and sincere
    student. Mr. Ede Mehta Wardhana was a student who was good at class. He has good academic
    report both on his Bachelor and Master Degree report (GPA 3.79 of 4). He has been active and
    showing his seriousness and commitment during his studies. In terms of his English proficiency, I
    feel certain that he can cope with the lectures which he will get from the lecturers, as well as his
    written works and oral discussions in the class room and laboratory. It is also because I know that
    he already have an experienced to study abroad in Europe for 2 semester as an exchange master
    student for his research. In terms of his intellectual ability, I believe he can absorb the knowledge
    as has proven himself during the lectures.

    I recommended him to continue his study into Doctorate Degree. I am glad that he has applied to
    your university. He can be an asset at your university. I have no doubt that he can finish his
    Doctorate Degree with a great result. As a background, Institut Teknologi Seppuluh Nopember
    takes only the top students from all over Indonesia. Within the university, faculty of marine
    technology is one of the top faculties and Department of Marine Engineering is considered one of
    the best Marine Engineering study centre in whole ASEAN region. The department of Marine
    Engineering also have a double degree with Hochschule Wismar.

    Nowadays, I am glad to inform you that Mr. Ede Mehta Wardhana has join us as one of the lecturers
    in Department of Marine Engineering ITS. I also encourage him to pursue further study in order to
    help our department and institution to become better in terms of innovation and research. I hope
    this letter could convince you that Mr. Ede Mehta Wardhana is a worthy candidate as one of your
    Doctorate student and also hope that you could guide him to become a Professional researcher and
    lecturer. Should there be questions, feel free to contact me. As the head of department of Marine
    Engineering, I strongly recommended Mr. Ede Wardhana intention to continue his study and hope
