Coating name: · Whitford UK Xylan 1070 - solvent based.
Temperature limits:
· Whitford Xylan 1014/1070 – solvent based
· Working temp. range (continuous) –
[-195ºC (-320ºF) to 260ºC (500ºF)]
· Working temp. range (intermittent) -
[-195ºC (-320ºF) to 285ºC (545ºF)]
Coating thickness: 0.0009” - 0.0013” (23-33 microns).
Thread class: · Stud/bolt - ASME B1.1 Class 2A & Nut - ASME B1.1 Class 2B
Thread fit after coating: Matching nuts must run freely along stud/bolt threads.

Coating color requirements per fastener grade: ASTM A193 Grade B7 / A194-2H - light blue
