Professional interests
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I would like to join an institute with good education and research environment with friendly
communication between the students and lecturers. I would like to allow the students to show their
skills and motivate them towards achieving their goals in future.
Educational Background
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Doctor of Phylosophy (Ph. D) : 2015
Thesis title “Studies on Strained
Ge Hetero-and Nanostructures for Light Emission
and Floating Gate Memory Applications “
(2009-2015 )
Institution Department of Physics
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India
Master of Technology (M. Tech) : 9.07 out of 10.00, 1st class, received silver medal
(2007-2009)
Institution : Department of Physics & Meteorology
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India
Major : Solid state physics
Teaching Experience
As a teaching assistant, I have taken tutorial classes for B. Tech 1st year students for two
semesters (3 lectures per week for Physics-1 course) at the Dept. of Physics and
Meteorology, IIT Kharagpur during 2010-13.
I acted as a laboratory instructor for B. Tech students at the Dept. of Physics and
Meteorology, IIT Kharagpur during 2010-14.
As a teaching assistant, I acted as a laboratory instructor for postgraduate students (Lateral
M Sc and Integrated M Sc), Department of Physics & Meteorology, IIT Kharagpur during
2013-14.
Research Experience
Post PhD:
For the last three years, I have worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow in National Chiao Tung
University, Taiwan. I have been working on the metal-oxide based transparent RRAM
devices and selector devices. I have successfully fabricated a ZnO/CeO2 bilayer TRRAM
device exhibiting three orders of retention and endurance of more than 2000 cycles. I
have fabricated bipolar p-n-p selector with selectivity about 104 and integrated it with an
RRAM to study the 1S1R devices. A 650 kb size of cross bar array is calculated to be
possible using the 1S1R device, we fabricated showing its potential in the future memory
technology.
