BI L1 - Speaking

This lesson plan is for a Year 1 English class on the topic of friends. The main skill focus is speaking, with complementary skill in speaking as well. Students will learn to greet each other, say goodbye, and express thanks using fixed phrases. They will watch a video introducing names and then practice target language in pairs and reporting back to the class. The lesson objectives are for students to recognize 3 out of 4 phonemes through their actions and begin to recognize the shapes of letters.
