Mrs Wilson’s Math Quick Reference: What You Need to Know

Grades, Missing and Incomplete Work Listed in Skyward


- Missing Work Icons appear only on the website not the app
- To qualify for Retakes/Mistake Journals, all work must be
completed and turned in by specified date.

Late Daily Homework Late Graded Work


- Due the next school - Student fills out a Pink Slip
day with parent - Returns the completed assignment and the

- Use the QR code to sign up for text or email notifications of
homework, tests, and other important information

Absent Work
- Each day absent = 1 day to make up the work
- If absent more than 1 day, the last assignment received in class is due.
The work from the first day absent is due the second day back; work
from the second day absent is due the third day back, etc.
- Download the work from the website (see above) or pick up from the
absent bin located in the back of the classroom when you return.

Textbook go to my.hrw.com
- Each student has a login from 6th grade to access the 7th grade
textbook, tutorial videos, and practice pages.
Supplies
- 1.5” or larger binder with dividers - Red pen for corrections
- 100 page spiral notebook for ISN* - Highlighters
- Pencils, lots of pencils

*ISN – Interactive Student Notebook


- 100 page spiral notebook to keep reference materials, notes, and
other resources to support learning

Grade Breakdown
- 70% for summative; 30% for formative
- Homework completion tracked in Skyward by Module

Receiving Credit for Assignments


- All work (each step) must be shown to receive credit
- The work is what demonstrates the level of learning

Calculators
- No calculators during the first few weeks while we are learning
integer rules!

Timeliness
- You are considered “On Time” when you are in your seat, ready
to learn, BEFORE the bell rings.

Cellular Phones
- NO CELL PHONES in class unless requested by the teacher.

Students whose names are left by a guest teacher will receive a 60 minute detention.

Always try. Be responsible. Cooperate. Do your best.
